Matrox has released a new set of drivers (5.86.032) for all Gxxx cards, except Marvel and MMS+tuner models. As usual, you can get them HERE.

Matrox has released a new utility for Parhelia gamers, "Apptimizer version 1.1.0.12".You can get it HERE.

New Features
------------
- Unlocked any display modes with an aspect ratio between 1.20 and 1.80 (include all 5:4 (1.25), 4:3 (1.33),16:10 (1.60) and 16:9 (1.77) resolutions). Maximum resolution in analog is still 2048x1536. Maximum in digital is now 1920x1200.

- Added the resolution 1280x960.

- Supporting anti-aliasing in a window, either fragment (FAA) or super-sampling.

- OpenGL 1.3 compliant.

- Added "NoFAA/Supersampling" option to allow a user to force no scene anti-aliasing.

- Heidi driver for AutoCAD 2002.

- Added support for fast user switching in XP.

- AA text is now accelerated in modes greater than 2048 width (in stretched modes).

- Fixed error message "SetPixelFormat failed, GetLastError=1" in SolidWorks 2001 Plus.

- Fixed the problem in SoftImage XSI where orbiting around in the camera viewport will cause the application to quit to the desktop.

- Fixed problem in NASCAR Racing 4 where launching the game in OpenGL mode causes the error "KMODE_Exceptionmode_Not_Handled" in MtxParhd.dll.

- Fixed various hang problems in 3ds max.

- Fixed problem in Maya where some borders would be missing on the image plane in the perspective viewport.

- Fixed problems in Softimage 3D where in some cases, the viewports would remain black.

- Fixed clipping problems in Medal of Honor, Project Eden, and Jedi Knight II.

- Fixed the hardware shading in I-DEAS when Outline is used.

- Fixed the system hang in I-DEAS when you apply an Outline to a non-rectangular shape.

- Fixed colour issues in the edge tool of Softimage XSI.

- Fixed various image corruption issues in Microstation V8.

- Fixed the problem where polygons would stretch when enabling shadows in SolidWorks 2001.

- Fixed flashing texture problems in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

- Fixed problem in Neverwinter Nights where the game would exit to the desktop when exiting the building.

- Fixed various problems with PowerDesk when using PixelTouch and DualHead zoom.

- Fixed problem where when in single display, Windows' taskbar will still visible if you were previously in merge and checked the option "While using stretched mode, maximize windows in the display containing the window." in PowerDesk's desktop management.

- Fixed problem where if you install PowerDesk in merge mode and choose 1600x1200 from setup program, your primary display acts as secondary and secondary display acts as primary when you switch from merge to independent.

- Fixed problem with MotoGP when pixel shaders are enabled.

- Fixed rainbow colors on characters in Hitman 2.

- Fixed problem with Madden 2003 and Menus.

- Fixed problem with Aquanox and plant corruption.

- Fixed problem with Soldier Of Fortune II and Jedi Knight II running at 1 fps when GL Extensions is disabled.

- Fixed problem with Realms of Torment crashing when texture compression is enabled.


Main known issues
-----------------
- Bridge Commander - When you enable 'Enhanced Glowing Effects' nothing happens.

- Some serives will not start in Win2k Server and .net server when parhelia drivers are installed.

- Acad 2002 - You may see a black shadow following the tooltip box that appears next to the mouse

cursor.

- Acad 2002 - FAA-16x will have no affect in shaded mode.

- Acad2002 - you may encounter some corruption where the mouse

is located when performing Zooms, orbits or pans when using a large project. You have to manually refresh the screen to rewove the corrupted parts.

- Solidworks - When more than 2 solid objects are opened and you over lap the windows, corruption may be seen on the active window object. The corruption is eliminated once you refresh your drawing simply by sizing the window or by clicking on the object to rotate it.

- 3D Studio Max - Whene in D3D mode, the Wireframe lines are to large and not clear when using FAA-16x

- Various errors when using a G450 PCI and a Parhelia installed in the same system.

- Zoom option only affects the Primary display when in in DUAL-DVI mode.

- While playing a movie in PowerDVD, with DVDMax enabled and in single display, you may get a blue screen if you switch resolutions while the video is playing.
