President Bush, Presidents of Central African States Pledge Cooperation President Bush met with the Presidents of the Central African States and all agreed that cooperation is essential to combat terrorism,
and affirmed the commitment to build regional and national
capabilities to share information and implement United Nations
Security Council resolutions to eliminate and deny sanctuary for
terrorist organizations, networks, and finance across Central Africa.

President George W. Bush signs The Flight 93 National Memorial Act in the Oval Office Tuesday, Sept. 24. The bill authorizes the building of a national memorial to the passengers and crew who died aboard Flight 93 when it crashed into Shanksville, Pa., during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
