Lynn touts progress; who will listen?

In the 12 years that Kevin Donahue, executive director of the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, has worked in downtown Lynn, he has witnessed changes that he says he'd like to share with folks both in and outside that often slandered city. ''The quality of life has improved a lot,'' he told a recent ''Safe City Summit,'' which drew only an estimated 80 citizens, cops, and officials to Lynn Classical High School's 450-seat auditorium.
