Red Dragon

Red Dragon - Friday
F.B.I. agent Will Graham (Edward Norton) is reluctantly brought back from retirement to solve two unspeakable crimes perpetrated by "The Tooth Fairy." Graham knows that to apprehend this monster he'll have to speak to another monster--one as equally brilliant and twisted as "The Tooth Fairy," and the one he captured himself--Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins). Red Dragon boasts an all-star cast including Ralph Fiennes, Emily Watson, Harvey Keitel, Mary-Louise Parker, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The film is directed by Brett Ratner, with a screenplay adaptation from Ted Tally (who won an Academy Award® for his adaptation of Silence of the Lambs). We also have the trailer, the photos, and the link to the official site for the movie. Red Dragon opens this Friday, October 4th.

IMDb Movie of the Day
You'll never see a bigger red herring than the one that pops up halfway through Harold Becker's Malice, a thriller filled with so many twists and turns you'd need a chiropractor to straighten it all out -- and even then, you might not be absolutely certain who's zooming who. Bill Pullman and Nicole Kidman star as a happily married couple in a small college town, where he's a rumpled professor and she's an angelic pre-school teacher. They have a gorgeous old Victorian house they're remodeling, a healthy sex life predicated on their desire to have a baby, and they feed each other Chinese food in bed. What could possibly be wrong here? Enter sneaky Alec Baldwin as Pullman's college pal and a surgeon so extraordinarily egotistical he makes God look demure. And hey, somebody seems to be killing off the pretty blonde co-eds at Pullman’s college too. That's just the first twenty minutes -- after that, the story machinations get so convoluted and outrageous that you'll need a map, a compass, a pith helmet and a machete to find your way through. Along the way, though, there's crackling dialogue provided by a pre-West Wing Aaron Sorkin and Out of Sight screenwriter Scott Frank, as well as scenery-chewing bits by Anne Bancroft, George C. Scott, Peter Gallagher, and Bebe Neuwirth. And keep an eye out for a young Gwyneth Paltrow as a pretty blonde co-ed destined for more than just academic probation. (-more) (Movie of the Day Archive)

Get In Contact!
Agent Contact InformationIf you're in our database but haven't added your agent contact information yet, now's the time. As part of our Fall Cleaning exercise the IMDb is focusing on agents, representatives, managers, legal reps and publicists. We've streamlined our system and added a prominent "Add agent/contact" link on each person's page (you'll see the link highlighted in yellow). Besides clicking on the "Add agent/contact" link, you may also e-mail representation information for yourself or your client directly to us at rep@imdb.com. Casting agents, directors, and many other film professionals scour our site daily looking for those qualified to help them realize their vision, but without contact information, you're not coming into focus.  Make sure you're represented on the IMDb.

Truly Trivial
Even though this movie was shot on location in Africa, the production had to import trained lions from California, as local laws prohibited the use of wild animals in film. (answer)
