GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION: by John LeeIt is the business of a general to be quiet and thus insure secrecy. He must be able to mystify his officers and men by false reports and appearances, and thus keep them in total ignorance. "There are no innocent civilians..., so it doesn't bother me so much to be killing
innocent bystanders." I fired him [General Douglas MacArthur] because he wouldn't respect the authority of the President. That's the answer to that. I didn't fire him because he was a dumb son-of-a-bitch, although he was, but that's not against the law for generals. If it was, half to three-quarters of them would be in jail. "A military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, escept that it has a yellow fringe, bordered on three sides." Over 2,500 years ago in China, Sun Tzu wrote The Art of War. His concepts are required reading in the major military war colleges around the world, as well as in America's top business management schools, and his book is still available in most bookstores. Sun Tzu earned his first job as army general by beheading two of his king's concubines for giggling during their first military formation. His theories of government (and business) ruthlessness are used against billions of people every day. Another incident, this time involving personal experience with military corruption, can perhaps give a citizen insight into the inner workings of a government bureaucracy. Hopefully, this information can benefit government employees who witness ongoing government corruption (in any type of jurisdiction), and wish to learn how to improve upon the system. Non-government citizens can also benefit by learning that it is not necessary to cave in to government corruption out of fear and incomprehension, sacrificing everything that is important to them. As mentioned previously, my wife was also in the Air Force, in food service and wartime readiness management (aircrash recovery, mortuary affairs, NATO stockpiles, etc.), at US Air Force base RAF Upper Heyford, "United" Kingdom (Great Britain). She was responsible for writing military contracts for civilian contractors as Chief of Quality Assurance, and for managing European Wartime Readiness Materiel (WRM) storehouses. Her rank was Technical Sergeant, E-6. She had received awards and decorations such as: Commendation Medal, Superior Performance Award, 3rd Air Force Technician of the Year, squadron NCO of the Year, member of Outstanding Unit Award--Best in USAF, member of squadron Hennessy Award, member of squadron Excellent rating NATO TAC EVAL, squadron NCO of the quarter, team member Readiness Rodeo--placed third in USAF, Stripes for Exceptional Performers promotion, Civilian Employee of the Year working part-time at the Officers' Club, and Distinguished Graduate at the NCO Academy.
By this time, I had separated from the Air Force, and was pursuing my semipro motorsport career full time. We had settled down in England, had bought our first home, and were really enjoying our lives. My wife was also on my pit crew, and we also received much assistance from various volunteers, some of whom had extensive experience with professional teams, but who were helping us out between jobs. Although ours was a low budget operation, we were on TV almost every race, were receiving much press coverage, including feature articles, in such military publications as The Stars & Stripes, AIRMAN and The Guardian. We were traveling all over the country in pursuit of racing the world's best and brightest (England is a relatively small country--we had a dozen race tracks within a four hour drive of our home). I felt that I was on my way to achieving my dream of earning a living as a professional racing driver, racing against the top drivers from twenty-five nations from five continents. |

The Services Squadron was hit by a drug purge from the base commander. Fifteen enlisted members had their careers destroyed during the investigation. Yet the drug dealer was not disciplined in any way; no jail time, no demotion, not discharged. In return for his entrapping his friends, he was given a clean record and a transfer to his base of preference (without telling the next base that he was a drug dealer). The squadron commander was fired, allegedly for allowing the squadron to be overrun with illegal drugs. A "green" squadron commander was brought in, to straighten out the "troublemakers," i.e., the remaining squadron members who had not purchased illegal drugs from the sting operation. However, my wife's career took a sudden turn for the worse when her new squadron commander, a former basic military training instructor, attempted to prosecute her with false charges of accepting bribes and blackmarketeering. This was possibly done as a reprisal for her proceeding with a highly publicized interracial military rape trial many years before. (She had been raped at knifepoint by a coworker, and she required an armed guard to protect her from death threats. Her commander had access to these personnel files.) Greed, racism and professional jealousy led him to overstep his authority, forcing us into conducting our own investigation into his criminal behaviors. It was an act of self-defense. My wife chose to pursue her professional complaints up the chain of command. The unlawful reprisals against my wife were again escalating, including her being classified "Detrimental to the Air Force if assignment continued overseas." The NCOIC (NCO in charge) at the base personnel office advised her: "Your commander has made his feelings quite clear about getting rid of you, reasons I will not go into. It's your decision to make, but if you stay here you could be separated as a Staff Sergeant, instead of a Tech Sergeant. . . . That could happen if you stay [here]." |

Upon consulting with the Area Defense Counsel, she was legally advised: "Cut the crap about the . . . 6th Amendment, it does not apply to you! You keep spouting off about your rights. Well, you do not have them since you are a member of the USAF and these rights guaranteed under the Constitution do not apply to you or your situation. You gave up these rights when you enlisted in the service. You took an oath to obey your superior officers. You do what they tell you to do! Get the idea of rights . . . out of your head. You really sound ridiculous . . . . Remember, you are not a civilian--these rights do not apply to you at all! . . . Maybe you are seen as the troublemaker. . . . You really have stirred up a lot of people on this base. . . . You know, I've seen Master Sergeants demoted for less than what you've done. . . . If you are not careful it could turn around and slap you in the face! . . . As for the squadron commander slandering your character (Threat communicating; Article 134, Manual for Courts-Martial U.S; false allegations of bribery, blackmarketeering and prostitution), they can do and say as they like. For example, if I think someone is an asshole and I tell someone else that's allright. . . . You need to take a serious look at your future." Ultimately, we filed complaints in the USA against that atttorney for violating the Code of Professional Responsibility. I 1 I 2 Eventually, she confronted the wing inspector general, the second highest-ranking officer on the base. The colonel illegally threatened her: "If you persist in your complaints, your career will suffer as a result, and that you will no longer be respected, should you persist in sending your complaints off the base. . . . You think that your commander is a scumbag, and you are just trying to get him fired, aren't you? If your intent is to get your commander fired, it will never happen. He is a very powerful man on this base. Maybe you are the problem!" That was just the beginning of a long fight to keep my wife out of military prison, and to salvage her previously meteoric career. With a family full of lawyers and a lifetime full of strange but true stories of cases, I had a gut feeling to not trust the legal system to "do the right thing". In the military, even petty allegations can destroy a strong career and send an NCO to prison. I 1 We learned firsthand about government self-investigation. Top military commanders, accused of committing criminal acts, manipulated the entire law enforcement establishment, including the judge advocate general corps (JAG -- a fancy term for military lawyer). They controlled the careers of cops, investigators, prosecutors, defense counsel, judges and juries. And they could even write their own congressional investigative reports through the I.G.'s office. They had government trained assassins just a phone call away, for what some Special Forces call an "internal swipe." Obviously, the commanders felt unencumbered by legal restrictions that normally applied to the rest of military members. Perhaps not unlike the corrupt local governments in many areas in the United States. At that point we learned how to bypass a corrupt bureaucratic system, motivated by our desire for survival. The "Achilles heel" of a corrupt government official is ironically his own corruption. And the more corrupt he is, the easier it is to find incriminating evidence. The dirtier they are, the more dirt you find, and, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. We eventually gathered evidence of fifteen separate military criminal laws violated by her squadron commander (including constant violation of top-secret security procedures, a DWI arrest and cover-up--after the commander nearly ran a British Ministry of Defense officer off the road, and for accepting contractor bribes), plus other charges against her other wing and base commanders, including the wing inspector general, and reported them to proper authorities in outside agencies on 28 August 1989. Base commanders had been using the squadron commander to defraud multimillion-dollar government contract funds, with my wife forced to rewrite the contracts. The WRM accounts were also being pilfered. These WRM supplies were needed should NATO ever be overrun by non-nuclear Soviet Pact forces. The base contracting commander warned, "This is so illegal. We're all going to jail." Civilian contractors had been forced out of work for alleged poor performance. New contracts were awarded at several times the expense of the old contracts. Then the dining halls were permanently closed, one day after the new contract was awarded, and the funds reallocated to fly more jet bomber sorties. My wife became a government whistleblower, reporting Fraud, Waste and Abuse of taxpayer funds to bipartisan members of both Congress and the White House, including (former) Congressman Toby Roth (R), Wisconsin, (then) Senator Al Gore (later President Bill Clinton's second in command and candidate for the presidency in 2000), (then) Senator Jim Sasser (ambassador to China for President Bill Clinton, who lived through a terrorist attack in retaliation for the US intentionally bombing the Chinese embassy in Bosnia). Her report was 400 pages long, and included government financial documents and sworn testimony from many equally concerned military members and civilian government employees.
At approximately the time period of an impending investigation, a government VIP luxury airliner landed on the base. The top-ranking commanders lined up to greet the dignitaries, as is the custom. One of the civilians departed the luxury aircraft and walked up to the wing commander, who is the highest-ranking commander on the base. Instead of greeting him with a salute or handshake, he grabbed him by the collar and hissed, "So these are those leather jackets the Congress is paying [pilots] for." This incident was observed by a Master Sergeant who had been detailed to carry the VIPs' luggage. The dignitaries then boarded their luxury motorcoach (bus) for their drive to the embassy in London. Note that Central Intelligence Agensy (CIA) staff operate out of US embassies and are often tasked with investigations on military bases, including stateside bases. The Third Air Force Resource Advisor, also based in England, investigated the squadron commander and base Inspector General in January of 1990. The investigating colonel agreed that the reprisals had taken place, but that he "didn't want to get involved." He told her, "Your commander says that you have been here too long and seen too much. There are two types of personnel associated with your complaints. The ones who do not support you outnumber the ones who do support what you are doing. The problem is that the one who is supporting you happens to be a member of Congress. . . . Your complaints are getting too much attention from Washington." Soon after the 3rd A.F. I.G. investigator departed, the commander-in-chief of USAFE, General Mike Dugan, arrived at the base and visited the intelligence section in the high-security nuclear alert bunker, across the hall from my wife's dining facility (she had been removed from her contracting and wartime readiness jobs). She was ordered to wait there, with her squadron commander (who had refused to visit her and her facility for over a year), for a visit from the USAFE commander. After several hours, General Dugan stormed out of Intel, without visiting my wife's facility. In May of 1990, we received the 3rd A.F. I.G.'s findings, as reported to Congress. The I.G. findings were fraudulent. My wife and I co-wrote a rebuttal to the report, titled Corruption of the Inspectors General Complaints Program, United States Air Forces in Europe. The report was 150 pages long, and included official documentation to rebut the 3rd Air Force I.G.'s findings, and forwarded it to the Congress in July of 1990. Eventually, the wing commander was promoted to brigadier general and given the job of Inspector General for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). He was then tasked with conducting the reinvestigation into my wife's allegations of lying to Congress by the Third Air Force I.G. We assumed that this promotion and assignment was intentionally done by General Dugan to cover up for his USAFE command. The commander of USAFE, General Mike Dugan, was soon promoted by president George Bush Sr. to Chief of Staff for the Air Force, around May of 1990. My wife and I realized that obviously General Dugan had promoted the wing commander to USAFE I.G. in order to cover up the serious allegations she had made regarding commanders and I.G.s under his command. We despaired that now General Dugan was so powerful that nothing would be ever be done to resolve any of the problems occurring daily in her squadron. On August 1, 1990, Iraqi armed forces invaded Kuwait. The White House had just donated another $1-billion of illegal weapons (lying to Congress and violating Congressional law), and had military maneuvers scheduled with Iraq the week of the invasion. The U.S. ambassador to Iraq April Gallispie had just advised President Saddam Hussein on videotape that: "I have direct instruction from the President to seek better relations with Iraq. . . . We have no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts like your border disagreement with Kuwait." The President's public opinion polls had been dropping from the Iran-Contra scandals (with an election approaching), and Congress was considering saving taxpayer's money on the "peace dividend" after the end of the Cold War against Communism (and was currently analyzing the White House's budget proposal). During Operation Desert Storm, my wife set up a dining facility for a Contingency Support Hospital in England at RAF Little Rissington. 5,000 U.S. forces were airlifted to the reactivated base, in expectation of many thousands of U.S. casualties from the war. In his book, The Commanders, Bob Woodward (editor of the Washington Post) wrote: "[Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Colin] Powell. . . heard a report on CNN about statements Air Force Chief of Staff General Michael Dugan had made about the plans for war against Iraq. The report, based on a story published that morning in the Washington Post, sounded weird. . . . Under the headline, "U.S. to Rely on Air Strikes if War Erupts," Powell read: 'The Joint Chiefs of Staff have concluded that U.S. military air power--including a massive bombing campaign against Baghdad that specifically targets Iraqi President Saddam Hussein - is the only effective option to force Iraqi forces from Kuwait if war erupts, according to Air Force chief of staff Gen. Michael J. Dugan.' With mounting surprise and alarm, Powell read that Dugan said the other chiefs as well as General Swartzkopf shared Dugan's view that 'air power is the only answer that's available to our country' to avoid a bloody land war that would destroy Kuwait." [Secretary of Defense Dick] Cheney said the comments were so extreme that he might find it necessary to relieve General Dugan. 'Do you have a problem with that?' Cheney asked. No, [President George] Bush said, whatever Cheney wanted to do, he would have Bush's support. . . . Cheney thought long and hard. Policing the four-stars was part of his ongoing job managing the building. . . . Cheney told Dugan he would have to relieve him of his responsibilities as Air Force chief. . . . Neither the Secretary of the Air Force, Donald Rice, nor General Swartzkopf had been consulted on the decision." General Dugan was fired six months after taking command of the USAF -- the first member of the Joint Chiefs to ever get the axe. Bob Woodward, with help from Carl Bernstein, co-wrote All the President's Men, which eventually became a myth-making movie starring Robert Redford. This book was credited with starting the downfall of President Richard Nixon in the aftermath of the illegal Watergate burglaries. Mr. Woodward had formerly been a Navy lieutenant whose job had been briefing the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon, and relaying their communications to General Alexander Haig, who was the president's White House chief of staff during the Vietnam War, according to Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin, in their book Silent Coup. General Merrill McPeak was promoted to become the new Air Force Chief of Staff. During his Senate confirmation hearing, General McPeak promised that: "We will not cut corners. Period. There is going to be no lack of integrity among the senior officers of the Air Force, that is all there is to it. We are going to do business in a straightforward, honest, businesslike way." The November 1990 issue of TIG Brief included an article by Lieutenant General Hosmer about the I.G Complaint Program and the Fraud, Waste and Abuse Prevention Program. General Hosmer wrote: "Commanders . . . let's get the message out! . . . And I'm not talking about spending time with 'problem' people--I'm talking about spending time on good Air Force people who just happen to have a problem." The final Inspector General investigation was conducted in December of 1990, by a team sent from Norton AFB, California (USAF I.G. H.Q.). The senior Colonel admitted: "You should never have received those [I.G.] findings." The Colonel stated that the squadron commander had been relieved on command on 1 December 1990, and given a job as bartender at the Officers' Club. Upon being asked whether there had been any positive changes in the squadron, my wife replied, "Yes, people are a lot more motivated in the squadron, and they are happier." My wife gathered more witnesses to testify to that, in self-defense. I co-wrote another 200-page report, in September of 1991, and mailed it to additional bipartisan members of Congress, as well as to the White House, titled, Impotence of the Inspectors General Complaints Program, United States Air Force. We wrote: "It's very good that the Air Force adopts 'integrity' as its new buzz word. The TIG Brief has even defined it so that everyone will know what it means. Unfortunately, integrity doesn't stand a chance when confronted with 'command influence.'" A full page article in the Air Force Inspector General magazine, TIG Brief, titled "Where Has the Integrity Gone," dated July 1991, discussed my wife's situation: "This investigation resulted from an NCO's third congressional inquiry letter in which the complainant rebutted numerous answers to the previous two inquiries. The Air Force investigators reviewed 70 allegations. Of these, 10 were substantiated and 22 were partially substantiated. . . . Was something wrong with the way in which this case was handled? You bet - a lack of integrity. Webster's Third New International Dictionary's definition of integrity includes 'avoidance of deception, expediency, artificiality, or shallowness of any kind.'" In the same issue of TIG Brief, the new Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General Merrill A. McPeak wrote (with a smug smile on his face, or what passes for a smile on a general): "The Inspector General performs an essential function. He provides that crucial second opinion that gives commanders at all levels confidence that things are being done right. He also raises warning signs when things are going wrong. . . . The I.G.'s principle customer is the commander. . . . The I.G. system, helping commander to identify problems and solve them, uncovering better ideas and sharing them, ensuring that we know where we stand, for better or worse." In another issue of TIG Brief, Colin Powell, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, writes: "I can tell you that democracy is not an easy form of government for military professionals. We subordinate ourselves totally to the will of the people and their elected representatives. We are subjected to civilian leaders and all manner of congressional oversight committees composed of both experts and amateurs who demand accountability from us and who question every request and all our needs. Yes, democracy is, for a military professional, hard. . . . But, in the final analysis, no matter how tough democracy is, it is a magnificent system!" In Howard Means' book, Colin Powell, Soldier/Statesman - Statesman /Soldier, Marybel Batier, who had been interviewed for "The Commanders" says that "Bob Woodward was about eighty-percent accurate at any point of that book." General Powell had been quoted on C-Span's American Profile series: "There's no better fight in town than testifying before Congress. . . . It's kind of like the old story out of 'The Godfather' - 'nothing personal, just business' as they throw the wire around your neck." General Dugan is not mentioned anywhere in this book, despite the historical significance of the first member of the Joint Chiefs to ever be fired. My wife's squadron commander was fired, and given the job of bartender at the officer's club. She eventually held simultaneous positions as dining facility manager, First Sergeant and Squadron Superintendent, still as an E-6. She was offered a job working for the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, which she declined in order to take early retirement. A sign in the waiting room of the base legal office (Staff Judge Advocate General (JAG)), where witnesses lined up before testifying to the I.G. investigative team warned: "If you want to play with the big boys, you have to know how to play the game." The USAFE I.G. investigation was also a whitewash of my wife's very serious allegations. In fact, it was more like an interrogation. Prior to my wife's retirement, I co-wrote another 200-page report to bipartisan members of Congress, as well as to the White House, titled, Failure of the Inspectors General Complaints Program, Equal Employment Opportunity Program, Uniform Code of Military Justice, and Censorship in the Department of the Air Force, explaining her disillusionment with the U.S. military. |

Congressional oversight, utilizing its General Accounting Office, resulted in a significant savings to the Pentagon food service budget. To realize this savings merely required the military to follow its current regulations as written, instead of abusing and misappropriating civilian contract funds. In the Air Force alone, one billion dollars a year is spent on food allowances, supposedly for military members utilizing off base housing. Yet 57% of dormitory residents (who were also given the allowance) were considered questionable, according to a Pentagon memo written after the investigations (dated July 1992), and distributed to all bases ordering "field commanders must turn this situation around." Of course, the American taxpayer never saw the benefit of this savings, since the Pentagon merely used it in some other manner. I 1 I 2 Colonel Robert Venkus, vice-wing commander and inspector general of RAF Lakenheath, in England, writes in his book Raid on Qaddafi: "I found myself chosen to become Lakenheath's 'lady in waiting.' Both naive and ambitious, I began to think that promotion to flag rank was a possibility. This is known as having 'stars in your eyes.' Given a strong foothold, it can readily cloud the most objective judgment and cause the reassessment of long-held views on honesty and integrity. In other words, officers can reach a state where they will consider doing almost anything in order to be promoted to general." General Norman Swartzkopf, commander of the Allied forces in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, writes in his autobiography, It Doesn't Take a Hero: "Our new captain was an alcoholic. . . . Some of the men had had enough and reported to the Army inspector general that their commander had been drunk on duty. But [the battle-group commander, Lieutenant Colonel] Brummitt did not want the inspector general meddling in battle-group affairs, and the lieutenant colonel he appointed as investigating officer subverted the investigation by giving the captain the names of the kids who'd offered to testify. The captain called them in, one at a time, and made sure they were so scared that they denied having seen anything. The investigation was dropped. I was in the office when headquarters telephoned the captain with the news he was in the clear. He was laughing! At first I was stunned and then I was mad as hell. Something inside me snapped. I called the investigating officer and asked for an appointment. 'What's this about?' he said. 'I need to talk to you about an incident that occurred in my company.' 'Are you sure you want to do this?' 'Yes, sir. I feel it's my duty.' I knew I was jumping the chain of command, and when I walked into the lieutenant colonel's office I was scared. He said, 'Lieutenant, I want to tell you something. The single most important value in the Airborne is loyalty to your commanders. That's loyalty no matter what. Any attempt to undermine their authority of your superiors will be viewed in the most dire light by all of us in this headquarters. Now, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?' I said, 'Sir, I don't want to talk to you about anything.' I walked out thinking, 'You and your Airborne can go to hell.'" General Swartzkopf only gives one sentence in his book to his fellow commander in Desert Shield, General Mike Dugan. With help from the president, General Dugan retired on a $75,000 per year pension, rather than the $50,000 he was originally entitled to. (About half the retirement pay of disgraced Los Angeles police chief Darrel Gates.) Joel Bainerman writes in The Crimes of a President: "Although it never made its way into the mainstream press, the alternative press--the Nation, the Village Voice, the Progressive, and In These Times--has given extensive coverage to 'Operation Demevand.' . . . [T]his was a White House operation to sell massive amounts of arms to Iran, covertly and illegally. Barbara Honegger, in her book 'October Surprise,' gave one of the earliest reports on the massive arms sales from the U.S. to Iran. Although many of sources remained anonymous, she has to be given a lot of credit for investigating a secret agenda that up to then had been virtually undetected. Her sources told her arms shipments began in 1981 [when the 52 embassy hostages were released during the presidential inauguration], and by 1986 had more than $15 billion worth of arms had been redirected to Iran [as reward for holding the hostages until the president could be embarrassed and defeated in the 1980 election]. She quotes Richard Muller, a former colonel in the Marine Reserves, as claiming that secret NATO military supplies stored in Reforger stores throughout Europe were being drawn down and sold to Iran, as well as to rebel forces in Angola, Afghanistan and Central America. The proceeds went to the Pentagon's 'black budget' for covert activities. . . . Why would the U.S. knowingly leave itself unable to defend itself against a conventional attack from Warsaw Pact countries?" Loss of these WRM inventories would require that NATO respond with a nuclear retaliation on Western European soil, killing millions of people, if not instigating World War 3. Mr. Bainerman writes: "One of her sources, who was a former CIA official stationed in Germany. . . . [explained:] It was exactly that intention," and the allies did not know because they were given false inventories. In fact, my squadron superintendent confessed to me that our war plans had already been drawn up to include first strike retaliation with nuclear weapons dropped on our allies throughout Europe. The superintendent was very upset by this, since he knew the reality that once given the order, our squadron would load the nuclear bombs without question. If anyone had attempted to prevent the loading of the bombs, the cops had their orders to shoot us. No other scenario existed, since the stockpiles of conventional weapons had been sold for a profit. The superintendent was soon relieved from his position allegedly for low performance of his troops during nuclear weapons drills--his replacement was much less hands-on. Republican President Dwight Eisenhower, the former Supreme Allied Commander during World War II, explained that: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense a theft from those who are cold and who are not fed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its workers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." It also raises everybody's taxes a tremendous amount. The US taxpayer invests more on military spending than the combined net profits of all American corporations. Munitions are not the only profiteering during warfare. Many members of the White House staff, including the president, George Bush Sr., signed waivers regarding their conflict of interest in waging war against a fellow business competitor, since they owned millions of dollars in oil company stock. A twentyish Bush Sr. got his start in the oil business with a million dollar gift from his father, Wall Street lawyer Prescott Bush (involved with a company busted for dealing with Nazis and violating the Trading With The Enemy Act during World War II), to start an offshore business named Zapata Oil (alleged in The Nation as Bush's first job as spy for the CIA, and a prelude to Bush's job as CIA director in the 1970s). A war would not only help eliminate a business competitor but would also drive up the price of American oil even though Arab oil accounts for a mere 3% of oil consumption in America. Allegedly, American troops were ordered to "defend" flaming Kuwaiti oil wells from American firefighters, apparently in order to drive up the price of oil thanks to news media coverage of the smoking environmental disaster. Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney was worth approximately $40-million thanks to his ownership of oil stock. In 2000, during the presidential campaign of George Bush Jr and vice presidential nominee Dick Cheney, oil prices suddenly rose sky high. A criminal antitrust investigation by the Bill Clinton and Al Gore Justice Department resulted in an equally sudden drop in oil prices. (When it comes to military employment, is father like son? Bush Jr. apparently rarely showed up for work in his cushy Vietnam War job as stateside National Guard pilot. Bush Sr., allegedly shot down during battle, tells inconsistent stories as to why he survived and his crew did not. Did multimillionaire teenager Bush Sr. actually see combat that day, or was a CIA-type cover story concocted to create a wartime myth for a CIA/intelligence agency messiah? Was he being shielded and groomed for bigger and better things than a mere Purple Heart? This apparent "memory loss" was reported by The Nation and many other publications, but never by the mainstream news media. If Bush Sr. really did almost become a POW, how did he have the heart, along with president Ronald Reagan and secretary of state James Baker, to allegedly turn down Vietnam's offer in 1981 to return their living POWs if paid the $3-billion in war reparations agreed to by corrupt president Richard Nixon? Billionaire Reform Party candidate Ross Perot wrote that was why he ran against Bush Sr. for the presidency in 1988, sabotaging the Republican vote so Bill Clinton would win. As for Bush Jr.'s alleged arrest for cocaine use, perhaps he takes after then vice president Bush Sr.'s alleged arrest for DUI -- along with one of his mistresses -- after a car crash, according to former first lady Nancy Reagan. Reagan hated Bush Sr. for running against her husaband and then within one year taking control of the presidency after her husband was shot by an assassin -- an assassin who's brother was due to have dinner with a son of Bush Sr. Not Bush Jr, but Neil Bush, of the billion-dollar Silverado Savings and Loan bankruptcy infame. Today, it is generally accepted by historians that America had never been threatened by Communist forces, that the entire Cold War was merely an excuse for trillions of dollars of taxpayer debt--much of it enriching the high-tech industries (and their executives) with Pentagon contracts. Fighting wooden aircraft and other fake weapons of mass delusion would not prove profitable to the powers that be. Many gvernment whistleblowers allege that warfare is merely a tool for the aristocracy to control and manipulate world populations for their profit. Those in true power rarely wage war against each other, lest they risk personal destruction. Instead, they cooperate for mutual benefit, lying to the public, alleging to the public that they need to pay for another expensive war against the latest converted enemy. In other words, selling off NATO stockpiles did not place America or Europe at risk, because the powers that be had decided decades before that there would never be a World War 3. Since only the people at the top knew this, the weapons had to be sold off secretly, in preparation for America's, and Europe's, next contrived 15-year "war," Operation Desert Storm, a war involving a Desert Retreat and nearly daily bombardment ten years later to "finish" the job president Bush Sr. and Defense Secretary Cheney started. Not even the Vietnam War lasted that long, officially. These are the same military commanders in charge during the Iran-Contra guns-for-drugs "Drug War" that nearly started a major American war in the early years of the Reagan/Bush Sr. White House that resulted in numerous criminal convictions and the expulsion of the US ambassador to Costa Rica for alleged drug trafficing. (The ambassador's deposition was organized by my father, an ex-Air Force officer, former president of a state Constitutional Convention and former president of the American Trial Lawyers Association, on behalf of the Christic Institute's infamously sabotaged RICO civil lawsuit, Avirgan v. Hull, 125 F.R.D. 185; 125 F.R.D. 189; 691 F.Supp. 1357; 705 F.Supp. 1544; 932 F.2d 1572. [Discovery denied to the civil plaintiffs of National Security grounds, certiori denied by US Supreme Court, but many criminal convictions of White House National Security officials, later pardoned by defeated president George Bush, the week before turning over the keys to president-elect Bill Clinton.] He is currently embroiled in a multibillion dollar lawsuit in the tobacco wars.) These Drug War commanders also were in the loop while US soldiers allegedly guarded the Mafia in the Mediterranean and protected cocaine plantations in South America, and according to Colonel Venkus, sent pilots to bomb Libya under the prescribed influence of crystal meth[amphetamine, an ADD prescription medicine for improving attention and "intelligence"], cocaine [prescription medication for dental pain with side effect of anti-depressant] and heroin [morphine, prescription medication for pain with side effect of anti-depressant] ("a/pac") -- the better to kill 40 sleeping civilians without tired thinking, slow reactions, pain of injury, disabling fear or emotional conscience. (However, it does nothing for remorse after the fact, and many combat veterans must resort to self-prescribed drug "addictions" and/or permanent "nightmares" by souls seeking amends.)
Allegedly, Libya retaliated in 1988 for this raid by bombing Pan Am flighF 103 and putting that corporation into bankruptcy, although Pan Am's investigation found that US government employees dealing drugs for the White House did the dirty deed. Acccording to Dr. Stoney Merriman, former Public Affairs Chief of the US Marine Corps at the Pentagon and a former editor the the Carthage, Tennessee newspaper in Vice President Al Gore's hometown, US Special Forces ground troops intercepted and protected Colonel Quaddafi in order to prevent his injury during the bombing of his home. The US soldiers were also tasked with protecting any other dignitaries visiting Quaddafi. Merriman wrote a Tennessee gangster's fun loving biography, Midnight Moonshine Rondeveus, before the retired Master Gunnery Sargeant's premature demise from brain cancer. These commanders had no qualms about sending 17-year-old female soldiers fresh out of boot camp (American slaves) to die in Somalian battle and allegedly ordered the explosion of food shipments sent to starving Africans. It's too bad American news media corporations refuse to actually cover American wars, since accurate investigation reveals a fascinating subject. Often it takes hundreds of years for personal stories to be declassified and fit for reporting to the American public, as revealed by the recent publication of Paul Revere's terrorist exploits. Why would anyone choose integrity, when corruption appears simpler and more profitable? I will give you one word--sanity! I believe that a person who makes this choice will enjoy life more, and ultimately be more successful. Choosing integrity is not the safe route, because doing what's right is pretty tough sometimes. Being true to one's self, however, allows living life to the fullest, instead of getting sidetracked into a world of deception. That government corruption ordeal, which involved nearly 1,000 pages of self-published congressional complaints and supporting official documentation, as well as personal investigation, was hard work. We even endured being followed by radio-equipped military officers and an anonymous tape-recorded death threat. At the time, we did not realize we had landed in the middle of a battle between the Congress and the White House, CIA and Pentagon. Why did we fight so hard, instead of just transfering out? Because my wife wanted to salvage her career, and I helped her because I wanted to go racing in England, the world center for "road racing," and nobody was going to illegally stop me. The stress was unbelievable, similar to what combat must feel like. We were butting heads with professional killers, who not only loved their jobs, but were in love with their jobs. But what the heck, you only go around once. That's what they never could understand -- our backs were against the wall, and it turned into a successful mutiny. We had sworn affidavits from a dozen other NCO's and government civilian employees who were equally appalled and mistreated. We even found witnesses who observed the conspiracy of her commander making up false criminal charges, and then laughing about them. We stood up for our legal rights as spelled out in the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Unfortunately, our rights only exist when we fight for them. Citizens trust their government with their lives, and hope to get their dollars' worth from their taxes. Occasionally, they get less than perfect results. Is it any wonder some citizens respond with cynicism? While in the armed forces, I learned that it is incredibly easy to let a government control what I think by controlling what information I see, hear and read. Top Secret intelligence briefings do not tell the whole story, and are unverifiable as to their alleged accuracy. Not until many years later did the realization that the nation had been conned sink in. I also learned that my personal success, in all parts of life, was dependent upon me thinking for myself, which depended on me remaining open-minded to as many sources of information as possible before jumping to a conclusion. I learned that the good guys cannot be distinguished from the bad guys, regardless of employer or rank, without a one-on-one appraisal. Yet I also learned how to create fear in a corrupt government employee, and how to use a bureaucracy to full advantage. I hoped that I would never again need to deal with such garbage again. Of course, such was not the case. Yet a good education can often prove useful in life, provided lessons are not ignored or forgotten. |

"Bush needed war" says suspended Air Force officer Jun 22, 2002 MONTEREY, California (Reuters) - A U.S. Air Force officer has been suspended from duty after he wrote a letter to a California newspaper accusing President George W. Bush of allowing the September 11 attacks to happen "because he needed this war on terrorism", a military official has said. Lt. Colonel Steve Butler was relieved of his duties as vice chancellor for student affairs at the Defence Language Institute pending an investigation into his letter, which was published in the Monterey County Herald on May 26, a military spokesman said. Butler's letter accused Bush -- the commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces -- of allowing the September 11 attacks to occur for his own political ends. "Of course Bush knew about the impending attacks on America. He did nothing to warn the American people because he needed this war on terrorism. His daddy had Saddam and he needed Osama," Butler's letter said. "His presidency was going nowhere. He wasn't elected by the American people, but placed into the Oval Office by the conservative Supreme Court...the economy was sliding into the usual Republican pits and he needed something to hang his presidency on." Butler, a 24-year Air Force veteran who served as a combat pilot during the 1990 Gulf War, was not immediately available for comment. His wife, Shelly Butler, told the Herald on Tuesday that the military had given her husband "a lot of grief" over the letter and reassigned him to temporary duty at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. She said he planned to retire in several weeks. Butler's suspension was apparently based on Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which says that any commissioned officer who uses "contemptuous words" against the president or other senior officials may be punished by a court-martial. The Monterey Herald said that the last Article 88 court-martial came in 1965 when an Army second lieutenant was prosecuted for taking part in an anti-war protest in Texas, although the Pentagon had "quietly issued" memos reminding officers of the Article 88 provisions after President Clinton became embroiled in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, prompting a number of articles and letters to the editor from military officers. The magazine "Columbus Alive" reports that they've received many reports about airplanes "spraying" or leaving behind mysterious "chemtrails" in the sky. When civilian flights were grounded immediately after September 11, this was more noticeable than ever. Some people feared the U.S. was under biochemical attack while others thought we were being inoculated against anthrax or some other biochemical hazard. During a flight to Phoenix in early October, a Columbus Alive reporter saw jets spraying everywhere. The way to tell the difference between a chemtrail and a normal contrail is that contrails can only form at temperatures below negative-76 degrees Fahrenheit and at humidity levels of 70 percent or more at high altitudes, according to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. And even in most ideal conditions, a jet contrail lasts no more than 30 minutes. Chemtrails are large, multiple trails that seem to hang in the sky indefinitely, then slowly feather out and appear to turn into cirrus clouds. Some seem to be sprayed intentionally in geometrically precise grid patterns. Their source and purpose is a mystery that is addressed by websites such as chemtrailcentral.com, chemtrail.com, carnicom.com. and goodsky.homestead.com (a skeptical site). The official government response is that they're due to increased commercial air traffic. However, in the month after the attack on the World Trade Center, there was very little commercial airline traffic and virtually no private civilian air flights, but contrails could still be seen frequently over many localities. One "Columbus Alive" reporter used high-quality binoculars to look at the planes producing chemtrails and saw that Stratotankers and KC-10 Extenders, which are refueling planes, appeared to be used for the spraying. [KC135 Stratotankers are based at McGhee Tyson ANG at Knoxville International Airport.] The Canadian "Ottawa Citizen" newspaper reported a "fervor over chemtrails" on May 16 and said, "Ground fallout [from the chemtrails] analyzed in the United States contained carcinogens and bacteria. Coincidentally in the past decade, most jet fuel was re-engineered to reduce fire hazards by adding a long-banned pesticide, which was reportedly also found in gel samples from chemtrails. Also found were toxic micro-fibers, much finer than asbestos." Explanations for chemtrails range from their use in military communications applications to scientific experiments designed to control the weather. A scientist working at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, who insists on anonymity, told "Columbus Alive" that public disclosure of the experiments is inevitable and may occur soon. He said that two different secret projects have been conducted. One involved cloud creation experiments to lessen the effect of global warming. The other involved radiation reflection off clouds in conjunction with the military's High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in Alaska. The scientist claims that the two most common substances being sprayed into chemtrails are aluminum oxide and barium stearate. When you see planes flying back and forth marking parallel lines, X-patterns and grids in a clear sky, that's aluminum oxide. The goal is to create an artificial sunscreen to reflect solar radiation back into space to alleviate global warming. In some cases, barium may be sprayed in a similar manner for the purpose of "high-tech 3-D radar imaging. The barium can be used for a 'wire' to shoot an electromagnetic beam through to take 3-D images of the ground far over the horizon," according to the scientist. Ken Caldeira, a scientist at Lawrence Livermore Labs and one of the country's leading experts on weather modification, conducted the original computer modeling for the use of aluminum oxide to fight global warming. He says, "We originally did this study to show that this program [using massive spraying for weather modification] shouldn't be done," due to negative health effects. Caldeira says there are persistent rumors that the Bush administration will announce geo-engineering weather modification projects this spring, which he sees this as "political suicide." Throughout the Cold War, both the United States and the Soviet Union actively investigated the military use of weather modification. In 1958, Captain Howard T. Orville served as the White House's chief advisor on weather modification. He publicly admitted that the military was studying "ways to manipulate the charges of the earth and sky and so affect the weather through electronic beams to ionize and de-ionize the atmosphere."
Professor Gordon J.F. MacDonald served on the President's Science Advisory Committee in 1966, and frequently published papers on the military use of weather modification. In the book Unless Peace Comes, MacDonald titled a chapter "How To Wreck The Environment." He described the military applications of weather modification including climate change, melting the polar ice caps, techniques for depleting the ozone layer over the enemy, engineering earthquakes, manipulating ocean waves and using the earth's energy fields for brain wave manipulation. "The key to geophysical warfare is the identification of environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy," said MacDonald.
In the early 1970s, the U.S. Congressional Subcommittee on Oceans and International Environment held investigative hearings on the military's research into weather and climate modification. The committee's findings included detailed plans for creating tidal waves through the coordinated use of nuclear weapons. A 1977 United Nations treaty, "The Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of the Environmental Modification Techniques," prohibited "the use of techniques that would have widespread, long-lasting or severe effects through deliberate manipulation of natural processes and cause such phenomena as earthquakes, tidal waves and changes in climate and weather patterns." Patent number 4347284, filed in August 1982, outlines plans to produce a "White covered sheet material capable of reflecting ultraviolet rays" from the sun. Numerous other patents attempted to perfect "aerial spraying of liquids," like patent number 4412654, registered in November 1983, which describes "a laminar microjet atomizer and method of aerial spraying involved the use of a streamlined body having a slot in the trailing edge thereof to afford a quiescent zone within the [airplane] wing and into which liquid for spraying is introduced." A patent was filed in July 1986 describing a "liquid propane generator for cloud-seeding apparatus." It reads, "Apparatus is provided for release of liquid propane from the holding chamber of a cloud-seeding rocket." A new and improved "liquid atomizing apparatus for aerial spraying" was filed as patent number 4948050 in August 1990. "The generator is driven from a power take-off from the engine of the spraying aircraft, a drive assembly includes a device for controlling the speed of the generator relative to speed of the engine," it reads. The New York Times reported on September 24, 1992 that a Russian company was selling electronic equipment to manipulate the weather in a specific area. The Times wrote that some Russian farmers used the weather-control technology for greater crop yields. Shortly afterwards, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Russian company Elate Intelligence Technologies Inc. was selling weather control equipment using the slogan "Weather made to order." They quoted Igor Pirogoff as saying that Hurricane Andrew, which did an estimated $17 billion in damage, could have been turned "into a wimpy little squall" by his company. South Africa's Water Resource Commission admitted to being involved in the actual testing of "hygroscopic seeding particles from a seeding flare" in an October 1994 patent, which says, "In a confidential technical trial which was conducted on a small isolated cloud formation above the Nelspriut area in the Transvaal province of the Republic of South Africa, two flares were ignited electrically from inside the aircraft…to produce rain." Russia sold former Soviet military weather modification devices to any country willing to pay for them. "Malaysia to battle smog with cyclones" is a headline in the November 13, 1997, Wall Street Journal. "The plan calls for the use of new Russian technology to create cyclones—the giant storms also known as typhoons and hurricanes—to cause torrential rains washing the smoke out of the air," the Journal reported. In April, the New York Times reported that Edward Teller, the father of the H-bomb, was "an ardent advocate of the Reagan administration's Star Wars anti-missile plan and, more recently, has promoted the idea of manipulating the earth's atmosphere to counteract global warming." The U.S. Air Force told CNN in July that it had broken up a storm over the Atlantic using products made by a company called Dyn-O-Mat. The company's website, dynomat.com, lists "environmental absorbent products" such as Dyn-O- Drought and Dyn-O-Storm. On November 13, a patent was filed outlining a "method of modifying weather." The description says, "The polymer is dispersed into the cloud and the wind of the storm agitates the mixture causing the polymer to absorb the rain. This reaction forms a gelatinous substance which precipitate to the surface below. Thus, diminishing the cloud's ability to rain." Ohio resident Dan King describes a rainy day in July when he was driving on a highway and "the rainwater looked like dish soap water on the highway. I thought it was just from the resurfacing, but when I got out in the country I saw the same thing. Piles of suds at the side of the road." The scientist who works at Wright-Patterson says that barium stearate is basically a soap bonded to a metal and could have produced the soapy-looking rain. It's no secret that most governments support other kinds of manipulation of nature, such as the development of genetically-modified foods. It's clear the American public is worried about the weather, since many areas of the U.S. have suffered greatly from weather extremes in the past few years. So why are attempts at weather modification being kept secret? It can be assumed that a large percent of the public would be relieved that the government is trying to do something about the problem. Perhaps it's because, until very recently, the official word from the Federal government has been that global warming isn't real. Could this be because oil companies and big businesses, who have a large stake in not reducing carbon dioxide emissions, are major contributors to political parties? Insight: Three-dimensional, over-the-horizon radars use chemical substances sprayed into the atmosphere to enable them to get detailed, high-resolution images of targets over the horizon, and offer the fastest and most comprehensive imagery of foreign airspace. Post 9-11, such radars would have been in heavy use to guard against further attacks. There is no way to tell the difference between chemicals being sprayed for such radars and chemicals being sprayed for weather modification. GERM WARFAREThe Hall of ShameThe United States has a long history of experimentation, on unwitting human subjects, which goes back to the beginning of this century. Both private firms and the military have used unknowing human populations to test various theories. However, the extent to which human experimentation has been a part of the U.S. Biological Weapons programs will probably never be known. The following examples are taken from information declassified in 1977, and from other private source accounts. President Bush sued for $7-billion by victims' families for leading 911 plot BY DAVID KIEFER Stanley Hilton now figures his case is stronger because of a coalition of attorneys, victims' families and bipartisan legislators who gathered in Washington on Monday to condemn the government's lack of action in preventing the Sept. 11 attacks. Hilton is the San Francisco attorney who filed a $7 billion lawsuit in U.S. District Court on June 3 against President Bush and other government officials for "allowing" the terrorist attacks to occur. Among Hilton's allegations: Bush conspired to create the Sept. 11 attacks for his own political gain and has been using Osama bin Laden as a scapegoat. Hilton said he has information that bin Laden died several years ago of kidney failure. "I hope it will expose the fact that there are numbers of people in the government, including Bush and his top assistants, who wanted this to happen," Hilton said. His class-action suit named 10 defendants, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta. Hilton said he represents the families of 14 victims and that 400 plaintiffs are involved nationwide. White House spokesman Ken Macias and Department of Justice public affairs officer Charles Miller each said their departments were unaware of the lawsuit. Hilton, Sen. Bob Dole's former aide, has been publicly critical of conservatives in books he has written about Dole and the Clinton sex scandal. Hilton, who said he has sources within the FBI, CIA, the National Security Agency and Naval intelligence, demands Bush's impeachment and believes the truth will come out in trial. Hilton claims the Bush administration ignored intelligence information, refused to round up suspected terrorists beforehand, and during the hijackings refused to disable pilot controls and switch to a ground-based remote system. He claims the government benefited from installing a puppet Afghan government friendly to U.S. oil interests. Hilton also says Bush used bin Laden's antagonist image to create a public frenzy, which allowed the Bush administration to tighten its political grip. E-mail: dkiefer@sfexaminer.com Feds sued over committing anthrax plot Legal group wonders why White House took Cipro before 911 attacks - 3 weeks before the first letter laced with anthrax June 7, 2002 Legal watchdog group Judicial Watch has filed lawsuits against several Bush administration agencies for failure to produce documents concerning the terrorist anthrax attacks of last October, the organization announced today. The agencies named include: the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and the U.S. Postal Service. The documents were requested under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA. Addition suits involving other anthrax-related FOIA requests with other agencies are likely to be filed in the next two weeks, says Washington, D.C.-based Judicial Watch. The organization represents hundreds of postal workers from the Brentwood Postal Facility in Washington. Until the facility was finally condemned, postal workers there handled all of the mail for the city, including the mail that contained the anthrax-laden envelopes addressed to Sens. Daschle and Leahy. While Capitol Hill workers received prompt medical care, says Judicial Watch, Brentwood postal workers were ordered by USPS officials to continue working in the contaminated facility. Two Brentwood workers died from inhalation anthrax, and dozens more are suffering from a variety of ailments related to the anthrax attacks. In October, press reports revealed that White House staff had been on a regimen of the powerful antibiotic Cipro since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Judicial Watch wants to know why White House workers, including President Bush, began taking the drug nearly a month before anthrax was detected on Capitol Hill. "The American people deserve a full accounting from the Bush administration, the FBI and other agencies concerning the anthrax attacks," Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman said in a statement. "The FBI's investigation seems to have dead-ended, and frankly, that is not very reassuring given their performance with the Sept. 11 hijackers. One doesn't simply start taking a powerful antibiotic for no good reason. The American people are entitled to know what the White House staffers knew nine months ago." FBI Agents acuse FBI leadership of conspiring with 911 terrorists May 30, 2002 TRANSCRIPT EXCERPTS The FBI has proven for the past decade it cannot identify and prevent acts of terrorism against the United States and its citizens at home and abroad. Even worse, there is virtually no effort on the part of the FBI's national terrorism unit to neutralize known and suspected terrorists residing within the United States. LARRY KLAYMAN, CHAIRMAN, JUDICIAL WATCH 9/11 wasn't the only terrorist event here in the United States. Some of them are classified. Some of them are not known. The FBI has knowledge about many other terrorist attacks that the American people have never been informed of in this country. We look to you, the members of the media to force the FBI to take action, to make full disclosure, before thousands, according to predictions of the Vice President Cheney, millions of Americas needlessly lose their lives through nuclear and biochemical and other types of terrorist attacks in this country. Jul. 10, 2002 Judicial Watch sues Cheney, Halliburton By JANE BUSSEY A government watchdog organization raised the stakes Wednesday in the widening corporate financial scandals by filing suit against Vice President Dick Cheney and his former company Halliburton Co., alleging accounting fraud that cost shareholders millions of dollars. The lawsuit by Judicial Watch, filed in U.S. District Court in Dallas, was the first legal action to target a member of the Bush administration, which is trying to quell the political storm and public discontent rising over fraudulent accounting practices. The revelations of inflated revenue and profits involving companies once considered poster children for the New Economy — Enron, Global Crossing and WorldCom — has sapped public faith in American corporations and their investments in the stock market. Judicial Watch's allegations accuse Halliburton of similar misdeeds. "No one is above the law," said Larry Klayman, Judicial Watch chairman and general counsel, who announced the lawsuit in Miami. Klayman, who gained prominence as an implacable foe of the Clinton White House with a series of lawsuits, has also sued for access to records of the Cheney-led energy task force that drafted the Bush administration's energy policy. The former Justice Department lawyer insisted justice could not wait until the vice president retired from office or the war on terrorism was concluded. "If we ceased to look at illegality during that time, we would cease to have a country," Klayman said. White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said the vice president's office told him, "They believe the suit is without merit." The shareholder lawsuit alleges that Halliburton, a Dallas-based provider of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries, overstated its revenue by $445 million from 1999 to the end of 2001. The company — aided by accounting firm Arthur Andersen, which was also named in the suit — fraudulently boosted its profits with a 1998 accounting change that listed disputed claims as revenues even though the clients had not agreed to pay them, the suit alleges. Cheney was chief executive of Halliburton from 1995 to 2000. The lawsuit says Andersen in 1998 remodeled itself to provide aggressive accounting and advisory services for companies, a corporate vision described as: Cracking the Value Code: How Successful Businesses are Creating Wealth in the New Economy. Cheney participated in an Andersen video promoting this vision, stating: "I get good advice, if you will, from their people based upon how we're doing business and how we're operating over and above just the normal by-the-books auditing arrangements." The unraveling Andersen is at the center of scandals at Enron, Global Crossing and other foundering corporations. Reaction came swiftly to the suit, which also named a score of present and former directors and officers, including the chairman emeritus of American Airlines, Robert L. Crandall, and Lawrence Eagleburger, who like Cheney was a Cabinet member serving under President Bush's father, the former President George H.W. Bush. Andersen spokesman Patrick Dorton declined to comment. Halliburton Chief Financial Officer Doug Foshee, who is also named in the suit, blasted it as "untrue, unsupported and unfounded." "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures," Foshee said in a statement. "Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles." Halliburton announced on May 28 that the Securities and Exchange Commission was probing the company's accounting methods. But Klayman said he had little faith that the Bush administration could investigate itself any more than the former Clinton administration's Justice Department could investigate how Chinese funds were funneled into his re-election war chest. "The last few days have been sheer showmanship," Klayman said. "What you have here is a confluence of business scandal, legal scandal, accounting scandal and political scandal," he said. "Judicial Watch is doing this because we cannot expect the SEC or the Justice Department to do it." Klayman said that Cheney, as Halliburton chief executive, needed to address the accounting questions. Judicial Watch, which was founded in 1994 and is based in Washington, D.C., has also filed shareholder lawsuits against former directors and officers of Enron and Global Crossing. Halliburton bills itself as the world's largest provider of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries. Halliburton's construction division, once known as Brown and Root, won contracts as diverse as providing all transportation and uniform cleaning services during the 1994 U.S. invasion of Haiti. Halliburton's share price fell 57 cents, or over 4 percent, to close at $13.55. NEW CHIEF OF FBI SECRET POLICE RAN PAN AM 103 TREASON by Sherman H. Skolnick 07/08/01 A unit of America's secret political police has a new Chief Terrorist. Robert Swan Mueller 3rd is the perfect choice to head the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When you realize what THEY and HE have been into, calling him the new head of a sinister entity will be an acceptable description. A few items from the memory hole [1] In the late 1920s and 30s, the FBI was in the forefront of subverting Freedom of the Press when it came to the new medium RADIO. The Bureau, under dictator J. Edgar Hoover, saw to it that no one critical of the government or harboring dissident views ever was allowed to have a broadcast license. [This fact somehow does not find its way into books and articles critical of FBI yet is known as an established fact by old-timers in the broadcast field. Chicago's WCFL, call letters for Chicago Federation of Labor, always was a joke. It was never allowed to be pro-labor or to speak out forcefully in favor of unions and the working person.] [2] To attempt to beat down the formation of labor unions as an opposition to corporate greed, the FBI used provocateurs to bomb certain offices and warehouses and such, using the monopoly press to falsely blame it on labor violence and union organizers. The FBI had as their adjunct the "Red Squads", falsely labeling all dissidents as "Reds". [See, for example, "Protectors of Privilege Red Squads and Police Repression in America", by Frank Donner, University of California Press, 1990.] [3] Through movie-making fakers, the FBI was given the false image of grabbing bank robbers. Such as in the 1930s. Years later, a retired key agent of the Bureau, with nineteen years of direct experience and knowledge, dared relate to me the Bureau's sordid past. That FBI boss Hoover, in important instances, took bribes from certain bank robbers given a pass. The FBI Chief connived with big-time criminals who owned race tracks and were whiskey manufacturers. To feed his ego, they allowed him to corruptly win at horse racing, his favorite pastime. One booze baron, Rosenstiel, actually set up a crooked foundation named for J. Edgar Hoover. The FBI denied there was a mafia in America. Simple reason the criminal cartel used blackmail against Hoover; they had undercover pictures of Hoover's homosexual activities. [Plenty of details in "Official and Confidential The Secret Life of J.Edgar Hoover" by Anthony Summers, Putnam, N.Y., 1993.] [4] The offices of the Bureau in the southern states were well aware of the Ku Klux Klan and lynchings of blacks, and bombings of Jewish businesses, and outrages against some Catholics. An FBI undercover operative, Gary Rowe, was given immunity and not punished for murdering a civil rights activist, Viola Liuzzo, in the turmoil in Alabama. The FBI, in fact, gave Rowe a reward. [See, for example, "J.Edgar Hoover The Man and The Secrets", Curt Gentry, W.W. Norton, 1991.] The Bureau, through their COINTEL Program sought to snuff out the Anti-Viet Nam War Movement of the 1960s and early 1970s. The FBI played a key role in "Operation Garden Plot", that is, to put peaceniks in the cemetery, by various bloody dirty tricks; plainly, murder. ["The 1960s and COINTELPRO In Defense of Paranoia", NameBase Newsline, No. 10, July-September, 1995.] [5] The Bureau played a key role in covering up airplane sabotage. Such as in the Watergate Plane crash in Chicago, one month after Nixon was re-elected President, in 1972. Twelve Watergate figures died in the crash, such as Dorothy Hunt, wife of the Watergate burglar, E. Howard Hunt. Together they had blackmailed two million dollars out of the Nixon White House. They had documents of Nixon's role in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The details of the aircrash, supported by 1300 pages suppressed government documents, were in a book written by me and stopped in the press cycle by the Rockefellers, major owners at the time of United Air Lines. [Alas! there are no copies of my book from 1973 available, "The Secret History of Airplane Sabotage". I hope to update it someday and post it, at least in part, on my website.] [6] Books by assassination researchers document the dirty, bloody role of the FBI in covering up the high-level plot to assassinate President Kennedy. [See, for example, a huge heavily-documented book, "Act of Treason", by Mark North, Carroll & Graf, N.Y., 1991. detailing the role of J. Edgar Hoover.] A former FBI official, later Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, covered up the role of the FBI in the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. [See, "Orders to Kill", by William F. Pepper, Carroll & Graf, N.Y., 1995.] As part of this pattern of cover-up and bloodshed, is Robert Swan Mueller 3rd. ===Mueller was a key official in the Criminal Division of the Justice Department during the administration of George Herbert Walker Bush. Mueller supervised the supposed investigation of the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, which crashed over Lockerbie, Scotland, December, 1988, about six weeks after the Elder Bush was elected President. A group of eight or as many as fifty CIA covert operatives were onboard Flight 103. Disgruntled, they were returning from a failed mission to attempt to rescue some American hostages in the Middle East. They blamed the failure on the treasonous acts of the Elder Bush as Vice President. As we showed in exclusive stories, in the 1980s, Bush was the secret PRIVATE business partner of Iraqi strongman Saddam Hussein. Together, they like mafioso, shook down for billions of dollars of "protection" money, the weak, oil-soaked sheikdoms of the Persian Gulf. The secret partnership details were part of the bank records sought to be suppressed by way of an unpublicized federal court suit in Chicago. I was the only reporter attending the hearing. Only one sizeable publication in America dared run my exclusive details, based on interviewing the court participants in the back of the courtroom. A populist newspaper, Spotlight, ran the detailed story on August 19, 1991. Contrary to CIA regulations, forbidding their people to fly as a group on one airplane, this group of covert units stayed together for what they thought would be their mutual security. At least eight of them were scheduled to finger the Elder Bush for treason in the hostage rescue intentional screw-ups, at secretly arranged hearings set before Congress for early in 1989. Such as, the Elder Bush was a sizeable owner of American LaFarge, the U.S. unit of a French firm, reportedly supplying the ingredients to Saddam Hussein for the making of poison gas to be used against the Iranians in the Iran-Iraq War, 1980 to 1988, and also against Iraq's own Kurdish dissidents. A director of the firm was a little-known Little Rock attorney, Hillary Rodham Clinton. She and her husband, William Rockefeller Clinton, were already part of a scheme to be played out in 1992, to install Clinton as President while shadow-boxing against his CIA mentor, the Elder Bush. Only one newspaper in North America ran a series after the crash, outlining some of the secret arrangements of the units of the American CIA that were snuffed out by the crash. That was in Canada, the Toronto Star. Prior thereto, by phone hook-up, I did radio shows in Toronto with a relative of the publisher who went on the air under a pen-name. Some were puzzled how FBI agents showed up at the Lockerbie, Scotland crash site in some instances quicker than local authorities. As stated in an award-winning film documentary about Pan Am flight 103 "Very strange people were at work very early on. Within a matter of three hours there were American accents heard in the town.Over that night there were large numbers, by which I mean 20, 25, 30 people arrived." As reported by British journalist David Ben-Aryeah, in the documentary by producer Allan Francovitch, "The Maltese Double Cross". Francovitch was later murdered as he was working on related documentaries. As a member of a local rescue team recalled, "We arrived within two hours [of the crash]. We found Americans already there." As an author of a book pointed out "....as odd as the fact that Lockerbie is over 350 miles from London, which is the nearest point an American FBI agent might be. To reach Lockerbie that night from London, even if traveling by air, would have taken far more than one hour considering the sequence of events that would have had to occur. Assuming timely notification, an American agent in London would have had to have been tracked down considering the late hour, notified to pack up for an investigation, rush to Heathrow, board a waiting airplane, fly immediately to the nearest airport that could land a jet transport, obtain ground transportation from there to Lockerbie, then locate the command center. An effort that would require four to six hours at the minimum." "The Medusa File" by Craig Roberts, an investigator and former law-enforcement official. From the details, there evidently was PRIOR KNOWLEDGE by the American FBI and the Justice Department. And who was in charge of all this? Reportedly Justice Department, Criminal Division, honco, Robert S. Mueller 3rd. Mueller is quoted as saying in a public statement, "We have no evidence to implicate another country (other than Libya) in this disaster." [From "The Oklahoma City Bombing and the Politics of Terror", by David [M.] Hoffman, Feral House, Venice, California, original edition 1998, page 326 footnote. By his doings reportedly in the U.S. and Scotland, Mueller falsely shifted the whole blame to Libya and a stop-over in Malta by some Libyans. [Hence the title of the late Francovitch's film documentary, "The Maltese Double Cross".] By so doing, Mueller shifted the focus away from the prior treasonous activities in the Middle-East of the Elder Bush, with the assistance of his sons, Jeb and George W. The Elder Bush, as President, rewarded Mueller for his treachery on behalf of the Bush Family. Mueller "was named to head the criminal division in 1990, under President George Bush. Dick Thornburgh, then attorney general, says he relied on Mr. Mueller for some of the department's most DELICATE TASKS. Before the invasion of Panama in 1989, for instance, Mr. Bush called Thornburgh in and asked if the drug trafficking case against the Panamanian ruler, Gen. Manuel Antonio Noriega, was solid. Mr. thornburgh says he relied on Mr. Mueller's assurances that the case would stand up; it did. Among the other investigations that Mr. Mueller supervised at the criminal division was the bombing of Pan Am 103, which had crashed over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988." New York Times, July 6, 2001 in a story about Mueller by Neil A. Lewis.(Emphasis added.) ===Shortly after being inaugurated as President, the Elder Bush launched the invasion of Panama in 1989, to kidnap Panama strongman Noriega to shut him up about being lured into private dope trafficking deals with the Elder Bush and sons Jeb, George W., and Neil. Playing a key role in silencing Noriega was Justice Department Criminal Division honcho Robert S. Mueller 3rd. Mueller reportedly arranged to terrorize Florida Federal Judges to lay the groundwork for them absolutely following orders to censor any mention of the Bush Family being implicated in the dope trafficking into which Noriega says he was either inveigled or was entirely innocent of, with Noriega as an Elder Bush arranged CIA operative. Bush had helped Noriega's rise to power by Bush arranging to murder Noriega's predecessor. [The Elder Bush paved the way for Saddam Hussein to the top in Iraq in similar fashion, by arranging to assassinate Saddam's predecessor.] One of the most outspoken critics of the Justice Department and the FBI on the Federal bench in America was Florida U.S. District Judge Alcee L. Hastings, one of only a very few black federal judges in the South. The FBI, as a reprisal, framed up Judge Hastings on bogus bribery charges. To scare other Florida federal judges that they have to march to the orders of the Bush Family, the Hastings matter was quickly referred to the House Judiciary Committee which voted articles of impeachment. In the impeachment trial in the Senate, contrary to the rules, only a handful of Senators attended or were interested in any way in Judge Hastings plea that he is innocent and was framed by the FBI. The monopoly press, to show him in a bad light, played up a picture of him bending down to get past a barricade blocking the entrance to the Senate as he was on the way to the Senate trial. [Hey, I thought the whole U.S. Senate, not just a couple of them, have to sit as judges in an impeachment trial.] Leave it up to the pressfakers to get a picture of someone they want to demonize, such as prominently showing a pimple on his face. On the other hand, the Rockefellers are always shown smiling and in a good image. The voters of Florida, however, did not buy the FBI frame up done with the apparent connivance of Criminal Division honcho Mueller. Thereafter, defrocked Judge Hastings was elected and numerous times re-elected as a Democrat Congressman from Florida's 23rd Congressional District. [Another one of the few black federal judges in the South, one from New Orleans, was likewise pickled by the FBI and removed from the bench. An hispanic federal judge in California, after hearing evidence in his court of the treachery of the FBI, pronounced them as the American Gestapo. Within a few months thereafter, as a reprisal, they attempted to send him to jail on bogus federal criminal charges. In that instance, the Judge beat back the FBI/Justice Department frame-up orchestrated by Criminal Division honcho Robert S. Mueller 3rd. BUT, evidently the federal judge hearing the criminal charges against kidnapped General Noriega got the message. The Judge blatantly and arbitarily ruled that no mention in the court will be allowed of how the Elder Bush and his sons inveigled Noriega, as a CIA operative, into business with them, through the infamous spy-money laundry, Bank of Credit and Commerce International, BCCI. Noriega's lawyers were forbidden to defend him with his role with the Elder Bush and Bush sons, details tending to show Noriega was innocent of the criminal charges. Few in the monopoly press mentioned a fact pertinent to people of the Third World. Noriega as the head of Panama was the ONLY person of color to head up a country in the Western Hemisphere. ===Mueller, as a top honcho of the Criminal Division, was instrumental in suppressing and/or destroying evidence and scaring off and covering up about witnesses to protect the Bush Family from being exposed in their treasonous role laundering assassination funds and funds of sworn enemies of the U.S., through the Bank of Credit and Commerce International. U.S. Senator John Kerry (D., Mass.) headed a subcommittee investigating dope and weapons smuggling and terrorist activities. In a heavily censored and watered down version of the facts, even the big-time newsfaker, the New York Times, in a story referring to Kerry and Robert S. Mueller 3rd, said "...John Kerry, who was already in his second term as a senator from Massachusetts when the two clashed in 1991 over whether the criminal division, which Mr. Mueller then led, had been aggressive enough in investigating the BANK OF CREDIT AND COMMERCE INTERNATIONAL, a rogue operation that had ties to drug gangs and gunrunning." New York Times, July 6, 2001, in a story by Neil A. Lewis. (Emphasis added.) Please note. Senator Kerry is no sweet angel. He is an expert reputed blackmailer and cover up artist. He is married to the widow of the late U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, John Heinz, heir to the ketchup and canned beans fortune. Heinz died in a sabotaged plane crash in 1991, just as he was planning to expose U.S. government complicity in several domestic and foreign political assassinations. As to the infamous BCCI, Sen Kerry himself had a conflict of interest in that he headed a group of U.S. Senators who accepted campaign funds from the worldwide spy-money laundry-murder machine BCCI. Kerry's subcommittee refused to delve into the highly pertinent Chicago branch office of BCCI and their Chicago twin, a branch of Italy's largest bank, owned in part by the Vatican, Banca Nazionale Del Lavoro, BNL. [Suppressed BNL records as to the secret private partnership of the Elder Bush and Saddam Hussein were the subject of my exclusive story, in Spotlight, August 19, 1991, referred to earlier.] George W. Bush the tainted OCCUPANT and RESIDENT of the White House, chose Mueller to head the FBI. Mueller has repeatedly demonstrated to the satisfaction of the criminally inclined, treasonous Bush Family, that Mueller obediently follows Bush Family orders to whitewash their criminality and treason. The established FBI pattern of covering up political assassinations, falsely blaming bombings onto domestic dissidents, and such, will no doubt continue with America's new GESTAPO CHIEF, Robert Swan Mueller 3rd. A forbidden item- Criminal defense lawyers whisper to us, "The women in the FBI office, unlike CIA, are so ugly, I am going to plead all my clients guilty to avoid me having to go again to the FBI office to look at those dogs." We fully expect to be sharply condemned by feminists as well as animal rights activists. NASA NAZIs Moon USA![]() NASA MOONS USA I TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES I CAPRICORN 1 I MARS ATTACK!

You are welcome to make a financial contribution to asist us in providing this information to the public.
News and Public Relations - We publish dozens of websites, appear on TV and radio shows, conduct investigative research, write newspaper and magazine articles, perform public relations and conduct political lobbying for your civil right to freedom (thus we must refuse to seek §501 "charity/welfare" status). Due to the popularity of this information, our websites are all crashing from lack of bandwidth. When one link is shut down, please click on another link until the first one is back on line (usually within one hour). We are expanding as fast as we can.
Constitutional Prosecutions - We are also prosecuting several class-action lawsuits against "Mob Rule" and Fraud, Waste & Abuse by Skull-&-Bones/CIA politicians, their CIA-contracted police that profit from illegal quotas and car-theft scams, and their Mafia-connected contractors that operate a world-wide $40-Billion/year cartel for toxic landfills and nuke-incinerators, garbage-trucking, tow-trucking and car theft, and fighting their $80-Million/year Nightmare Team of trial lawyers from "The Firm" operated by Bush's ambassador to Japan, Howard Baker, former White House chief of staff during Iran-Contra's narcotics trafficing and Watergate Committee damage-control as a US senator. We have also been fighting one of the world's-largest multinational corporations to save the rights of all Americans to get a jury trial instead of nonconsentual "arbitration" ("corporate court"), where the corporation pays its own "judge" $600/hour, plus expenses, to make an "impartial" ruling—$35,000 for our 6-day "trial" - now in federal appeals court after five years. We also assist honest police and prosecutors by investigating predatory crimes pro bono - especially when traditional tactics are stalled in the bureaucracy - including cases of government corruption and homicide. Obviously we face routine reprisals for these actions, such a death threats, assaults, thefts, "black-listings", harassments and other subversions. (But then again, our enemies routinely do these things to millions of Americans - and worse crimes.)
Self-help Legal Defense - Please download our websites to your computer in case we are eliminated from broadcasting by whatever method, so that you may use this legal information for your own protection (per 17 USC §107, all other rights reserved). Discover your laws and spectate at free trials in the real-world instead of watching propaganda cop-court shows on the idiot box. We have no Constitutional rights unless we stand up for ourselves and demand them. The law says it's not "rape" unless a victim yells "Rape!" and fights to the death. The right to lawful self-defense is useless unless a person is willing to fight. 99% of all litigation is fraudulently filed by governmental corporations to bluff the poor and uneducated to "voluntarily" sacrifice their rights and property. Knowledge is Power. Inaction and action without knowledge can become suicide.
Self-help News - Copy and distribute this information by email and hardcopies to all friends, family and associates, since we face many hurdles of censorship and are denied listings in many search engines. Be careful where you spend (invest) your hard-earned money. Hollywood fantasies can't hold a candle to the action and adventure of investigative journalism. Please invest your time and money with honest Americans who report uncensored news rather than with multinational corporations who lie, cheat and kill without any allegiance to the United States of America. Beware bait-and-switch tricks that devide-and-conquer. We must team together as Americans against those who work to pit us against ourselves. Our websites include thousands of links to honest news you can use, regardless of so-called "political" labels. Virtually every established organization is infiltrated, subverted and perverted, so we seek out true grassroots-news sources and the gold needles in the haystack of traditional infotainment.
Thank you for your dedication to fighting to save the United States of America!
