Random Quote
"I'm never really happy unless I'm writing, recording or playing, I never get the band out of my head. I don't have any other hobbies. I don't have any time off. I write, record, tour. Why would I want to do anything else?"

Mansun were so loud when they played at a Washington DC venue that a neighbour shot a brick through the front window of the venue as they were sound checking.

THE PRESS IS ENGULFING ME, MEMORIES ORBITING ME
Posted at 5:50 BST 22/5/2002 by Dave. Status: Media

More interviews with band have surfaced from the current tour and are now available online. Firstly, Mansun fansite Mansunite has an excellent interview with Paul, conducted in Oxford on Sunday evening, with questions asked by webmistress Suzi Meredith. Topics of the lengthy session include his thoughts on the new material (both the songs played live and the songs yet to be aired), the album's working title ('Mansun') and artwork, his take on the direction of last album 'Little Kix', the possibility of a DVD format for the next single (to include live and backstage footage), the early songs, the band's relationship with Parlophone and much more.

Also on the site is an interview with Stove, conducted by fans Andy Blanchard and Susan Inglis in the band's dressing room at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh on May 10th. The subjects discussed were fairly personal to the bass player and included his childhood, his favourite holiday and clothing and his household preferences, and topics relating to the band such as note-worthy gigs, what they've been listening to lately and future plans.

Lastly, another interview with Stove is available online, this time for BBC Wiltshire. Topics covered include the current tour and new tracks, the importance of fans and the band's fashion in the past.
