M2 Services Doubled With Introduction of
West Pennant Hills
Valley Services

On Monday 8 July the new Hillsbus M2 City service from West Pennant Hills Valley to the CBD begins. Running at approximately twenty-minute intervals, the new service is designed to take commuters from the area into the city using the M2 expressway dedicated bus lanes.

An additional 20 buses per day are to be introduced into this area, including extensions to the existing Dural – City services. Running from West Pennant Hills Valley, including Highs Road, Blacks Road and Taylor Street, the additional services will vastly improve public transport in the local community.

Hillsbus - City services will now operate from 6 am into the city, with the last return journey leaving the city at 7.30pm in the evening.

Existing services operate from Dural to the City during peak hours only.

The introduction of the additional buses will enhance the existing services by introducing off-peak journeys to and from the city enabling residents to travel into the city from 8:30 and return before peak hour in the afternoon.

Hillsbus Planning Director Keith Todd commented: "Our passion is to provide our Hills District customers with the best possible transport service customised to their needs. We realize that there is a great demand for commuter services from many Hills suburbs into the city. The provision of this service from West Pennant Hills Valley is another step in our plan to support the Hills community to the best of our ability."

Hillsbus is a joint venture between Westbus and the Glenorie Bus Company.
