I wasn't gonna say anything, Link...

Aria - www.crucial.com for RAM. Get at least 256MB, PC133 or 100, either will do with what you have, but 133 is better.

When it arrives, unscrew your computer case from the back, take off the side panels, and look for a chip that looks like the one you ordered. There should be a couple of empty slots next to the installed ram ship. Just take the new one, line it up to the slot, and gently press in until it clicks into place. If it doesn't want to go in, try turning it around and seing if that makes it easier. (There is a front and backside to RAM.)

I have 3 slots to add RAM to increase my memory.

Also, is there any way to increase the speed of your processor or is it just best to increase your memory...

Someone told me u have to be careful when u open up your pc, cause static can short everything out. Is this true?

Yes, you can upgrade your processor, but it involves jumpers and occasionally soldering. I did it on my G3 (overclocked from 333MHz to 450MHz) but it's easier to do on a Mac.

As for static, yes, it's dangerous. To ground yourself touch any metal part of the computer case. Don't wear any jewlery while you're in there, either, if you're worried. (Although I do it al the time.)

[edit]Oh, and never touch a RAM chip without grounding yorusef first and never touch the gold (bottom) part of the RAM chip, period.[/edit]

In ROD right?? Most Likely Yep

If you still have your comps manual it should tell you what type of ram it takes..
unless you have a laptop dont bother buying ram from dell.. It will be more expensive...
