It was all started when Steve and Cindy Vance introduced "Simpsons Illustrated". Then Steve and Cindy formed Bongo Comics Group with their pals, Matt Greoening and Bill Morrison. After they published "Simpsons Comics And Stories Issue" in January 1993, they started to publish other comics such as "Simpsons Comics", "Bartman", "Radioactive Man" and "Itchy and Scratchy Comics".In the late 1994, not only Steve and Cindy left Bongo, but it was acquired by Marvel. However, Jason Grode, managing editor of Bongo, said that Bongo is owned by Matt Groening 100%. In the late 2000, after Bongo published "Simpsons Comics #51", they decided to publish it from bi-monthly to monthly.
