The Application Enhancer system allows you to enhance or redefine certain behaviors for applications running on your system.
It provides a way for third-party enhancer modules to modify how your applications work.
Application Enhancers cannot affect the core system - they operate on an application level, therefore, they cannot cause a whole Mac OS X system to crash.
The technology behind Application Enhancer system has been in research and development for more than 1.5 years now, and many of our haxies (including
WindowShade X, FruitMenu, Silk and others) are using it.
Features:
- Provides capabilities to use Application Enhancer modules.
- Completely free of charge*.
* Application Enhancer system is completely free for you - we believe we are opening a whole lot of possibilities for other
developers to enhance Mac OS X further, so we're not charging you, the end
user, for all the exciting things Application Enhancer allows developers to do. While the Application Enhancer system is
free, individual modules may not be, depending on module developer's decision.
New in v1.2:
- Added a new APE Manager Preference Pane for configuration and management of the installed Application Enhancer modules.
- Better error reporting.
