DrWeil.com is owned by Polaris Health, LLC, a Phoenix, Arizona-based holding company founded by Andrew Weil, M.D.

Polaris Health, LLC is controlled by Dr. Andrew Weil; the assets that contribute to the capital of the corporation include the Web site and capital raised by Angel Investors, private individuals who believe in the work Dr. Weil is accomplishing. Funding for Polaris Health LLC is independent allowing the company and this Web site to provide only the products and services in which Dr. Weil believes. Because of our shared values and the profiles of our investors, we are free from any sort of bias which could possibly arise from corporate stakeholder influence. Today, Polaris Health, LLC exclusively markets a line of health and wellness products under the Polaris trademark.  We will only provide products and services that pass the scrutiny of Dr. Weil. 

All of Dr Weil’s after–tax profits from products and services derived from Polaris Health, LLC go directly to the Polaris Foundation, a non-profit foundation supporting Dr. Weil’s dream of advancing the cause of Integrative Medicine and optimum health around the world.  Dr. Weil does not personally benefit, directly or indirectly, from the capital proceeds of Polaris Health LLC or the Polaris Foundation.  

The Polaris Foundation is a non-profit organization, and like the North Star (polestar) after which it is named, aims to be a guiding light on the path to optimum health by furthering knowledge and acceptance of Integrative Medicine. The Polaris Foundation is sustaining the vision of Integrative Medicine by working towards changes in education, research, patient care and public policy. Integrative Medicine is a healing-oriented system that brings together the best medical and therapeutic practices from around the world to form a unified approach to health maintenance. The common thread among the varied therapies that form the basis of Integrative Medicine is the consistent focus on the body’s own innate mechanisms of healing. Specifically, the Polaris Foundation supports the University of Arizona Health Sciences Program in Integrative Medicine (PIM), founded in 1994 by Dr. Weil. This program features a fully operational clinic, fellowship training and cutting-edge research.
