MOSCOW HOSTS EUROPEAN HELICOPTER FORUM

14 countries, including the USA, Israel, China, South Korea and Japan, have delegated representatives to the 27th European Helicopter Forum, which opened in Moscow on Tuesday. Specialists from well-known aviation companies like France's Eurocopter, the United States' Bell and Italy's Agusta, are expected to present reports during the show.
First held in 1975, the forum is annually arranged by the European Helicopter Society /EHS/. In 1995, the EHS arranged the show in Russia on request of Russian helicopter producers.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Russian Vice Premier Ilya Klebanov said he hoped that the forum would "give a new impetus" to cooperation between Russian helicopter producers and their foreign partners.
