Welcome to the INS Field Offices page. We're publishing home pages on all of our INS field offices to help you find information about how and where we operate in the field. Information is provided on all of our INS District Offices, Sub Offices, Service Centers, Asylum Offices and some of our Ports of Entry, as well as overseas offices, and Border Patrol sectors. NOTE: Field office addresses, contact telephone numbers, and local processing procedures are found on the "About Us" of each field office.

To help those in the U.S. to find the INS field office(s) serving your area, the buttons on the left provide access to INS Field Offices, accessible by a map and a state list. The mailing addresses for INS District Counsel (legal offices) are also provided. These are arranged alphabetically both by the state and by the city of the INS District Office.

To help those looking for your local Application Support Center (ASC), the button on the left provides access to the list of ASCs.

To help those looking for your local Border Patrol Sector or Station, the buttons on the left provide access to these, accessible by a map and a state list.

INS operates detention facilities called Service Processing Centers (SPCs), and finances several Contract Detention Facilities (CDFs). Information about some of these facilities can be found on the INS Detention Facilities page.

To help those outside the U.S. to find the INS field office serving your area, the buttons on the left provide access to these, via a map of the world, and a list of INS overseas Districts and Sub Offices. We also provide you with a direct link to information about U.S. Embassies and Consulates on the Website of the U.S. Department of State.

See also About INS Field Offices for general information.

If you have comments about any specific field office Website, about the kind of additional information that might be useful in the future, or about the quality of service provided at a specific office, please write to the head of that office as noted in their About Us page.
