This is the real site for answers
to playing Madden Online with your
PlayStation Two(2). We began this
site as a safe haven for fair play
Madden gamers. So if you are into
real NFL Sim style football, we
are here for you. Of course another
great reason for MaddenOnline coming
into being is for gamers to meet
and discuss techniques, leagues,
tournaments and more. MaddenOnline
has become the single location for
people to meet and improve their
Lets face it, playing Madden Online
is not like playing at home. For
you real rookies to online gaming,
I expect you got slammed one day
and thought the other guy cheated.
Now you can find the truth.
The first myth to debunk is "you
can't play cheats online".
Cheats can be used through Gameshark
however the EA server immediately
disconnects the user (lightening
fast disconnect, not the delayed
one that plug pullers cause). You
can use secret teams, but you can't
use Madden cards or enter cheat
codes that make your guy drop the
ball etc... So are there cheaters
in the sense that people don't play
fair? Yes...there is a way...*
The guys so good you'd
swear they cheated!
So how do they do it? How do players
sack your QB so fast? How do they
know when to hit that tight end
on an out pattern when you think
you got the ultimate blitz package?
Calm yourself grasshopper, you may
not yet leave temple... These people
have learned what we call 'gadget'
plays or 'exploits' to be precise.
Gadgets are plays
that players use by calling traditional
plays but moving players into precise
locations to create fast results
like a sack. Exploits
are bugs in programming that allow
certain plays or players to perform
in unnatural ways.
The answers are here. Some for free,
some you will find out at our free
What is with the word cheese? Cheese is also a form of
cheating but not truly defined as
cheating. Cheese is when you play
a non-NFL sim style gameplay. Cheese
is a freestyle form of gameplay
more like the game NFL Blitz. This
is Madden, the most realistic NFL
sim on the market today. It is not
NFL Blitz. If you like in your face
crazy non-realistic gameplay then
you are in the minority of gameplayers
on the EA server. See our standard
for cheese and our Real NFL
Sim Standard to gain a better understanding
of fair gameplay.
