The next one should be in Scotland! We have scenery, whisky, bad weather and perfect women! It's the greatest palcee in the world.

And it would also mean you could have Clans instead of tribes... of course you could still call them tribes but use ancient clan names!

I'll stop rambling now ;)

I think we're due to have it in Ireland, personally. I'd love to see the Celtic history tied into this game, and I'd certainely be an amazing place to camp out at.

*smiles all Irish-like*

Ya know that Celtic theme isnt such a bad idea :)

I've got an idea that could fit in with that.

What about having a setting in a haunted castle in Ireland. Theres plenty of challenges the Angels could come up with and tie into the ghostly and unghostly histories, folklore, legends etc of Ireland

Dont know if I explained that good enough but I think you get the general ideal :)

Under the sea would be very cool, Hern.

Could tie in so many different things...like merfolk, sailor legends, Atlantis, and even the "real life" undersea stuff...

Very cool.

Well since I haven't played Survivor since like round 5 or so, I'm not sure what themes have been used between now an' then.

But anyhoo, I think an outer space theme would be pretty cool if ya didn't do one like that yet.

Tribes could be names of star constellations or planets or something like that. Challenges - wow loads of topics to challenge players with, star systems, astronauts, galaxies, planetary facts, whew way too many to think about listing.

Now why would a former Survivor-goddess such as m'self be posting suggestions if I wasn't gonna play? .... cuz I can *Smirkles* No no not just that, because I'm thinkin about playing again this time around, barring any unforeseen comp problems, power outage, hurricane, etc., etc., of course.

To continue with Tara's theme...tie it down to Mars. Between Edgar Rice Burroghe's fantastic Martian cities, Ray Bradbury's red planet, Ben Bova's utterly realistic explorations, and of course the dicoveries Sojourner recently made, there's plenty of material available. Tribes could be based on camps of differing scientists for the realistic element or on Burroghe's fantastic beings.

Well, since I'm having a difficult time deciding which I like better - the universe or the celtic theme - I think both would work.

Celtic Martians. *nods*

See, the theme would be set in space (or perhaps just on Mars), and, as was said before, there are plenty of things that could be expanded on to make a great Survivor round from that. Constellation challenges, Tribal Council under several moons... and living in a barren landscape would be excellent - it would give the rations idea even more weight. The sad thing is, the barren landscape wouldn't be much to look at, and it could get boring after awhile.

But... but that's not all!

Rather than a simple Martian setting, make them Celtic Martians. This would be an added effect that would spice up the whole thing. Magic and science combined into an ultimate Survivor round. At Tribal Council, a spell makes the one who's voted out vanish, yet their soul remains to cast the vote for the final winner. The challenges with the stars and constellations would have a mystical factor, so that the patterns in the sky would be used for something. *nodsnodsnods* Tribes could be the Priests of the Red Planet, the Druids of Barren Land, etc etc etc.

Besides, think how cute little robed martian people with staves would be? Come on...

So who's with me? =P

Gah! Quit it! Stop, I say! Stooooppppp!!!! I'll play, I'll play!

Geesh.

Looks like a lot of old timers are coming back this round. ;) (Well, me and Tara at least... *decides to consider that "a lot" and be done with it*)

'Sides, it not like I have anything else to do (ther than work) for the next three months. *knows a good ole round of Survivor is just what he needs to pass that 3 months quickly so he can fly off to college* =)
