Welcome to the home for all those that have gone or are going through Paxil / Seroxat (Paroxetine Hydrochloride) withdrawal. Although programs like 20/20 and recent scientific publications lend credence to the problems that a percentage of Paxil (and other SSRI, including Prozac) users are facing when decreasing or stopping the drug, the medical community at large is still ill informed when it comes to the process as a whole.

This site is set up primarily to reassure sufferers that their symptoms are quite real and not uncommon. It also serves as an independent rallying point for future actions, legal and otherwise, against GlaxoSmithKline.

Latest news (3. 12. 03) :

Looks like Apotex has won round one against GSK: a cheap Paxil knock-off could be on the market soon (up to 80% less according to some sources). Check the media section for details. This is good news for everyone who is stuck on the drug, but I worry that drop in price will result in a surge of new "customers" to this site. Time will tell. Rest assured that if Apotex is as negligent as GSK about their documentation regarding the possible withdrawal effects of their drug, they will be targeted in the same manner as the company whose drug they are copying.
