    1. What is your review process?
    2. Charisma House and Siloam Press will review your manuscript. If your manuscript meets our current needs, we will contact you. If your manuscript does not meet the current needs, your manuscript will be immediately sent to Creation House Press, our co–publishing division, for further review.

Charisma House (formerly Creation House) is royalty based and publishes books about Spirit-led living.

Charisma House does not publish poetry, fiction, testimonies, short stories, pamphlets, brochures, song books or posters.

Siloam Press publishes books about living in health–body, mind and Spirit.

Creation House Press is a co–publishing book press.

Creation House Press requires the author to purchase a minimum of 2,000 copies of their book from the first press run at a deep discount off the retail price of the book. This removes most of the financial risk from the company and the author shares in that risk.

    3. How do I submit my manuscript?
    4. Follow the directions to fill out our Project Appraisal Form(PAF) completely. Please note at the top of the form which imprint you want to be reviewed for—either Charisma House or Siloam Press. Please do not submit your submission to Charisma House or Siloam Press if we do not publish your topic stated above. You can send your proposal by email, fax or mail. We do not accept cassettes, videos, CD’s or diskettes.

    5. May I send my entire manuscript?
    6. No. We ask that you only send the table of contents and one chapter along with your PAF for review. We will request the entire manuscript if needed. Due to the amount of submissions we receive, our editors are not capable of reading all the manuscripts we receive for review.

    7. May I call you to discuss my manuscript?
    8. We understand that you would like to consult with us, but due to schedules and time constraints our editors do not have this opportunity.

    9. How can I find out if my submission has been received?
    10. Include a self–addressed, stamped postcard that gives space to sign and date and we will be more than happy to return it to you.

    11. How long is the review process?
    12. Allow approximately six to eight months for review. Due to our editor’s schedules, the review process may take longer.

    13. How will I be notified once my proposal has been reviewed?
    14. We will notify you by email or mail.

    15. What happens if Charisma House or Siloam Press does not accept my proposal?
    16. Should your manuscript not meet our current needs, your proposal will be sent to Creation House Press, our co–publishing division, to be reviewed. If your manuscript is of interest, a packet of information about Creation House Press will be sent to you.

    17. What happens if Creation House Press does not accept my proposal?
    18. If you enclose a SASE when sending your material, we will return your material back to you. Otherwise, we will discard your material, as we do not have space to store all the submissions we receive.

    19. May I speak to an editor regarding the reason my manuscript was not of interest?
    20. You’re proposal will be read through thoroughly but unfortunately, our editors are not available to answer these questions. Consider joining a critique group where can receive input on your manuscript.

    21. What is your royalty rate and do you pay advances?
    22. Unfortunately, we do not discuss this information until an author nears the contract stage.

    23. Can you provide me with a list of publishers that I can submit my manuscript to?
    24. You can visit First Edition, which is affiliated with Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) at www.ecpa.org. Here you can submit your manuscript online and publishing houses can review it.
