Forums for Technology Staff Developers and School-based Leaders

The Office of Instructional Technology regularly convenes events for the specific purpose of assembling an extended community of technology staff developers and school-based leaders.

At these events practitioners come together to share best practices and strategies as well as to explore new technologies, instructional software, educational websites, and other resources. Guest speakers are also invited to share with this group of talented technology integration specialists. The participants then 'turnkey' this training to teachers and school administrators in their home districts. Participants always receive related materials, software and/or hardware to support their staff development efforts.

Over the past several years, the presenters at the shareouts have offered a wide variety of exemplary curriculum and standards-related lessons, units, and projects that have been replicated citywide.
