Approximately 75% of construction contracts have been awarded with the balance of work expected to be awarded by April 2002.

Construction is on schedule with the placement of concrete foundations and steel erection. Masonry is to begin in February 2002. A project web cam has been installed and should be in service later this month.

Project Summary: PROJECT SIZE AND DESCRIPTION: The new Law School Building is programmed at 196,000 gross square feet and includes space for the law library, instructional spaces for the Law School, offices for faculty, administration, staff, graduate programs and centers, clinics, student activities, and Continuing Legal Education programs. The site is located on the northwest corner of the main campus, south of the Burke Museum between Memorial Way and 15th Avenue Northeast.
