New bus route in Poinciana
For Immediate Release
June 3, 2002
LYNX, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority,
is coming to Poinciana.
Recently approved by the Osceola Board of County Commissioners,
our newest route, Link 26, will begin servicing parts of
Poinciana on August 11.
The route begins at the Osceola Square Mall to Pleasant
Hill Road and then into Poinciana, connecting schools and
neighborhoods with the town and community centers.
One of our vibrantly colored and convenient buses will take
riders near the Poinciana Community Center, Osceola High
School, Deerwood Elementary School and other activity spots
throughout the area.
Link 26 also connects with Links 4, 10, 18, 55 and 56 at
the Osceola Square Mall, making it convenient for riders
to get to Downtown Orlando.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and community event officially
introducing Link 26 is planned for August 14 in Poinciana.
The location, time and further details will be announced
at a later date.
