I was finally clued in to the fact that the forums just weren't working for a lot of people! I've fixed that.

Layout hackers take note: we have added some new #VARIABLES# which give you more control over how the time and date is displayed in your entries. This forum post has the information. Have fun, and let us know if want to see more customization options like these.

Possible login problems
posted 02/03/03 (edited Monday, Feb 03, 2003 01:57)
In an effort to fix the http://yourname.journalspace.com linking to Blog Hot or Not, we broke the cookie system. If you have a problem administering your journal, click here to logout, then you can login again. This should fix any access problems you have, but if it doesn't, please post a message in this forum.

new journal template: MutedGrey
posted 02/02/03

nak has donated his MutedGrey template for you to use if you like. To select this template, go to your journal's configurator and choose "Basic Setup."

tip of the day: Choose your content!
posted 02/02/03

The "Content" link in your Configurator allows you to select which types of information your journal displays, and which types it doesn't. For example, if you don't have anybody on your favorites list, you can use the "Content" page to tell the site not to display an empty "favorites" box. Or, if you haven't entered your IM info, you can remove the "IM" section from your journal.

It's a quick and easy way to make your journal look the way you want it.

new feature: e-mail notification for comments
posted 02/01/03
Journal keepers who have allowed the posting of comments in their journals now have the option of receiving an automated e-mail from the site whenever somebody leaves a comment in their journal.

You will find this new option in the "basic setup" page of your configurator.
