At the center of our platform is Final Cut Pro 4. Among its best virtues is scalability. Start with a Power Mac G4 and Final Cut Pro and you have a great real-time offline and online DV editing and compositing system. Add a video capture card like an AJA Kona or Aurora Igniter and an Apple Xserve RAID and you can work with 10-bit and 8-bit, uncompressed SD video. High definition? You've got that covered with the same Power Mac G4 by adding a Pinnacle Cinewave HD option. Fill the Xserve RAID to 2.5TB and you’re ready to work with uncompressed high definition footage. Have an Avid offline system? Import your EDL into Final Cut Pro, online and finish economically and with great quality.
