oz skeins); Heathered Multi-colors: 75% acrylic/25% rayon (4 oz skeins).Amount: 9 Ounces No. 2943 High Plains.
Knitting Needles: U.S. Size 10 [6mm].
Yarn needle.
GAUGES: In pattern:
20 sts = 4"; 21 rows = 4". In Stockinette Stitch (Knit 1 row, Purl 1 row): 15 sts = 4"; 20 rows = 4". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauges given.
SCARF:
Cast on 33 sts. Work in pattern as follows:
Row 1 (Right Side): K3, * P3, K3; rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * K1, P1; rep from * across.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 until 60" from beginning, end wrong side row. Bind off in pattern.
POCKETS (Make 2): Cast on 21 sts. Beginning at top of pocket, work in mock ribbing as follows:
Row 1 (Right Side):
K1, * P1, K1; rep from * across.
Row 2: Purl.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 twice more. Now work in Stockinette stitch, begin Knit row, until 6" from beg, end Purl row. Bind off leaving a long end for sewing.
FINISHING:
At each end of scarf, sew wrong side of pocket to right side of scarf with yarn needle.
