Putnam and Wirtz teamed up in Summer 2002. The 2003 Four Continents is the first international competition for
the pair. Wirtz is a nephew of coach Paul Wirtz and his brother Kris, who is a pair skater as well. Both are also
competing in singles. She finished 3rd at the 2003 Canadion Junior Championships. He was 4th at the 2001
Canadian National Championships.
