Honors: Named to preseason Wooden Award “Watch List” ... 2002 consensus first-team All-Big Ten (only returning first-team performer from a year ago) ... 2002 NABC second-team all-District ... 2002 Academic All-Big Ten ... only basketball Olympian in UW history (played for native New Zealand in the 2000 Summer Games) ... one of just 35 players ever to have played in the Final Four and the Olympics in the same year ...

Summer of 2002: Represented New Zealand at the 2002 World Basketball Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. ... led Kiwis to a surprising fourth-place finish, losing to Germany in the Bronze Medal game ... averaged 16.9 points per game and 31.1 minutes per contest, both second on the team ... scored in double figures in eight of nin games, including a high of 24 points against eventual World Champion Yugoslavia in the semifinals ... shot 45.5 percent (20-44) from three-point range ...

2001-02: Led the Badgers to a share of the Big Ten regular-season title, averaging 15.1 points and earning consensus first-team All-Big Ten honors (first Badger since Michael Finley in 1993 and only fifth UW player wince 1948) ... started all 32 games ... led team with 15.1 ppg (seventh in Big Ten) ... scored in double figures 23 times, including in 19 of the last 23 games ... named Big Ten Player of the Week three times, tying Indiana’s Jared Jeffries for the most weekly awards ... averaged 17.0 points over the last 23 games, shooting .471 (131-278) from the field, .412 (49-119) from three-point range and .823 (79-96) from the free throw line ... UW was 7-1 when he scored at least 20 points ... also chipped in 4.9 rebounds per game, third on the team ... scored career-high 33 points on 13-17 shooting against No. 14 Marquette (second-highest point total in Big Ten last season) ... followed that up with 29 points and 13 rebounds against UW-Milwaukee five days later ... scored 30 points, including 27 in the final 15:31, to lead Wisconsin back from a 13-point, second-half deficit at Minnesota ... shot 9-13 in that game , including 6-9 from three-point range ... recorded back-to-back “double-doubles” against Ohio State (21 pts./10 rebs.) and Northwestern (15 pts./12 rebs.) ...

2000-01: Played in all 29 games, starting 22 ... Big Ten’s leading three-point shooter (.478) in conference games, third in all games (.432) ... UW’s second-leading scorer at 11.2 ppg ... third in conference in three-pointers per game (2.41 in all games and 2.75 in league games) ... his 70 three-pointers were sixth-most in a season at Wisconsin ... field goal percentage of .485 in league competition ranked ninth in the conference ... scored in double figures 17 times, leading Badgers 10 times ... three 20-point efforts, including career-high 24 vs. Xavier, 23 at Michigan and 21 (career-high five three-pointers) vs. Minnesota ... made at least one three-pointer in each of the last 17 games ... after going 0-9 from three-point range in the season opener, shot .458 (70-153) from beyond the arc in the UW’s final 28 games ...

Summer of 2000: A member of New Zealand’s 2000 Summer Olympic team ... he averaged 6.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists as New Zealand finished 11th in the Games ... he had a personal Olympics-high 17 points in a win over Angola ... led Badgers with 21.5 ppg scoring average on team’s four-game summer tour in Italy in August ...

1999-2000: Played in UW freshman-record 34 games, including six starts ... averaged 10.0 ppg as a starter ... scored six points (two three-pointers) off the bench in NCAA tournament semifinal vs. Michigan State ... then career highs of 17 points and 37 minutes in first career start at Purdue on Jan. 15 ... six points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench in Big Ten tournament win over 22nd-ranked Purdue ... made 14-19 (.737) from free throw line for season ...

High School: Attended Westlake Boys High School and played for Coach Simon Dennan ... his primary pre-college basketball experience came as a member of teams (coached by current UW assistant Tony Bennett) that played against professional opposition in New Zealand ... also played for New Zealand in the Under-20 Australian Championships where he averaged 32 points per game in six contests ... played four years of prep volleyball ...
