Intelligent Broker breaks up the problem of following all news, quotes, and related market events for tens of thousands of stocks into small tasks that can be run independently on remote computers, such as yours. The Intelligent Broker servers assign the tasks to user's computers, known as agents. Agents perform their tasks and report back to the servers, which process the results. The overall system is transparent to the user, but its results are readily available and extremely effective.
