    ANALYSIS

Positives: Well-built athlete with long arms and big hands … Quick off the snap and shows quick movements getting into his routes … Makes sharp cuts while maintaining balance and control working in the short area … Effective in the flats, having a knack for getting open, showing uncovering ability on short routes … Natural pass catcher who plucks the ball out of the air with hands properly extended … Aggressive going up for the ball, making body adjustments to track the ball while competing with a natural feel … Can accelerate after the catch … Effective delivering down-and-reach blocks, and excels making blocks while in motion … Shows good arm swipes as he handles the edge rushers, gaining separation with his hand punch.

Negatives: Has medical concerns that could pose long-term problems (instability in his wrist) … The injury has prevented him from adding needed strength, as he must pace himself in the weight room … While he is quick off the snap, he has only an average release off the ball and struggles to get untracked from the line inside the red zone … While tough going for the ball in a crowd, he does not always display that courage in other areas of his game, seeming to shy away from getting out and cutting off linebackers upfield … Lack of strength prevents him from anchoring properly and driving with his legs to gain leverage off the snap … More comfortable catching in the short area, lacking that second gear and acceleration point to escape defenders upfield (gathers some before building up a head of steam) … Drifts in and out of his patterns on deep routes.
