E-LIBS -- MAD LIBS
(creative writing, using parts of speech replacement)

You'd be surprised how many different sentences you can make by replacing some of the words with others.

Here are three things you can do. You can do either 1, 2 or 3 - or you can do any of them or all of them.
Whichever you decide to do, send them to dlloyd@beaumont-publishing.com for them to be put up on the web.

  1. Change the words in red with others in the list. Make as many sentences as you can.

  2. Continue any of your different sentences to make a short story.

  3. Write your own sentence or sentences, make some of the words red and give a list (at least two words) that could replace each of your red words.

The teacher came into the class, put his books on the desk and looked up. He didn't notice anything special. In front of him were the usual faces. But something was wrong. It was Billy. He looked different.
