I'm wondering if George Fletcher Shirley is the brother of Edy mentioned above. We do not have much information on his siblings, but supposedly he did have a brother named Elihue. His father was John Shirley who was born about 1777 and George Fletcher was born in 1796, brother Elihue was born in 1802. This all falls within the timeline of Edy. I have the family tree from the point on down as it relates to my family, but I'm trying to fill in some holes. Please let me know if you think there could be a connection.
