  APRIL 6th: THE KENYA DERBY

APRIL 6th : a lot of people attended the Nation KENYA DERBY DAY.

KIRI TE (J. McGinn) won the Daily Nation Kenya Derby(2400 m).

Dreamcatcher (J. Bramhill) was fastest in the Eastafrican Super Sprint (1200 m).

Idomeneo (J. McGinn) came first in theNation FM Breeding Futurity Stakes(1000 m).

Trainer Oliver Gray won 5 out of 7 races including the above mentioned top three.

While at the Ngong Racecourse, one can enjoy and bet on the races, or just relax and be entertained by traditional dancers and musicians. Live music is a common spectacle and is enjoyed by many. Children's activities include face painting, puppet shows, mascots, bouncing castles and acrobats.

This is the place you  can entertain thousands of people even on non race days. Banners, placards and flags can be placed to give maximum publicity. You could even rent a tent where your company can entertain business associates. With so much to choose from, pop in or call. We will be pleased to assist you.

The Kenyan Breeders    Committee will organize this season again the 2YO challenge. As last year, TOYOTA Kenya is sponsoring this challenge. For more details click here
