HUSKER FOOTBALL

-- Jammal Lord's two touchdown passes were his first two of the year and matched his single-game career best. Lord threw a pair of touchdowns in three games last year, most recently against Kansas on Nov. 9, 2002.

-- Redshirt freshman Isaiah Fluellen's 43-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter was his first career reception.

-- NU forced a season-high five turnovers against USM (3 fumbles, 2 interceptions), besting the four turnovers forced against Oklahoma State.

-- Damion Carter's fourth-quarter touchdown pass marked the first points Nebraska has allowed in the second half this season.

-- Robin Miller's fourth-quarter touchdown run was his second career score. Miller first found the end zone on Nov. 6, 2001, against Iowa State.

-- Nebraska's 141 rushing yards was its fewest total on the ground since Kansas State held NU to 90 yards on Nov. 16, 2002. end of article dingbat
