Note: This project has been static for a looooong time. Someone should figure out what parts aren't in linux-mips.org yet and move them over.
Welcome to the Linux VR project. Our goal is to bring the Linux operating system to NEC VRSeries devices, most of which were originally designed to run Windows CE. So far we have Linux up and running on the Vadem Clio, the Casio E-105, the Everex Freestyle, and more.

CVS Repository
Linux VR is now in sync with Linux 2.3.99-pre3 and running pretty smoothly.
No major problems reported at this point. A little more code needs to be merged into serial.c,
but it only affects the power management parts. arch/mips/config.in will probably be made Linux VR specific soon.

You can check out the latest source code through anonymous (pserver) CVS:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.linux-vr.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/linux-vr login
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.linux-vr.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/linux-vr co linux
Just press Enter for the password (leave it blank). Updates from within the module's directory do not need the -d parameter. Click here for additional info. Please contact a project admin to request write access to the repository.
