Subject content: Contains sample data weighted to represent the total population. In addition, the file contains 100-percent counts and unweighted sample counts for total persons and total housing units.

Geography: ZIP Codes for all States and counties. Data are organized by the first digit in the 5-digit ZIP codes 0 through 9.

File format & software: dBASE III+; disc comes with GO display/retrieval software.

Note: Data for the ZIP Code areas of Wyoming on Disc 3 (sold before Sept. 20, 1993) are not accessible with the GO software although the data are present on the disc. The GO software on Disc 2 allows you to select Wyoming from the menu, but since the data are not on that disc, it returns the following message: "No data for this selection, press any key to continue." Currently, the only way to access the Wyoming data on Disc 3 is to use XBase software that can read dBase-formatted files or contact our Electronic Products Branch on 301-763-7710) and request a software "fix" for the GO software problem so that the Wyoming data can be read.
