Monkey Games

I've been procrastinating a little bit and was looking at Jake's website when I wish inspired to upload some flash video games here. Jake had a link to a website called Miniclip where they have free flash games to download and use on your website. I figured it was a great opporunity for me to start a little video game section on the site. So click on the links below to play some of the games.

Monkey Lander - You are a monkey from outer space trying to collect all the bananas on each stage. Be careful not to run into anything and pick up other fruits for extra points. It's pretty fun and I found it to be quite addictive.

Flashman - This is a knock off of the classic game Pac Man. If you like Pac Man you will enjoy this.

Canyon Glider - This game you fly a hang glider through floating rings. Watch or for voltures or the ground. I've run into both.

That's all for now. More to come later, and most likely a permanent link to the games somewhere on the homepage.

A Million Jelly Beans

This post has nothing to do with jelly beans, but I figured I might get some google hits from Jelly Belly addicts if I titled the post a million jelly beans. Why I would ever want jelly bean addicts visiting my web site I really have no idea, but hey that's just me. I was thinking about doing something interesting with the web site today, but I'm still busy as all hell. I've got roughly a week left in school here and should be done for winter break soon enough. I was planning on changing some colors on the web site for Christmas, but once again I just don't have the time. Believe it or not I don't have time to change a couple of colors. You'd think I'd have time to edit a little CSS, but as I said this is a time issue. I promise I will have lots of new stuff soon that you will be interested in. I put up a new monkey of the day picture (thanks for the reminder Beaty), and also another picture of the moment. I'm positive that really isn't enough for all of you, but that's what you get for now.

I'm starting to write a book so maybe I'll post something from it up here one day. It is something along the lines of Catcher In The Rye meets Silicon Valley. I'm using some of my real life experiences as a guide, but this book is going to be dark and twisted so don't jump to conclusions thinking you know who someone is. I'm only going to take one class next semester so I can focus on my writing, and figure out what I want to do with myself. ASU is making my life a living hell, and I really just want to transfer somewhere that will let me major in what I want to major in (makes sense right?). So what I am really saying here is that for a little while I'm going to be swamped with some school work, but pretty soon I will have some free time to explore some new opportunities. Now that I took a little break to make this post it is back to my school work. This is sure the be the best Friday night ever!

What A Long Strange Trip

So I went back to California for Thanksgiving. It was fun, and I got to see a few old friends. I can't say that I really did to much, but it was a nice change of pace. The real excitement actually came on the ride home. I had two passengers making the journey with me. The first person I had to drop off was my cousins cousin Heather who I hadn't seen in a few years. She's working in Hollywood for some casting agency. I dropped her off around seven in the evening. I wasn't making to bad of time at this point in time. Next I had to drop Neal off in San Diego which was about two hours away. We made this journey in no time, and I was back on the road towards Arizona at about nine. Things were looking good for me. I only had about 5 more hours of driving ahead of me, and I'd be getting home in time to get some sleep before my Monday class. Little did I know this wouldn't be the case.

About 75 miles outside of San Diego I was on the I-8 headed towards Yuma Arizona I decided I should stop and get some gas. I had about a quarter of a tank left, but figured I'd rather stop and not run out of gas in the middle of the desert. I stop at a gas station and go to use the ATM, but the ATM doesn't seem to want to work for me so I just give the cashier my last five bucks and fill up my tank. A little further down the road I stop at a casino/gas station and try my luck again. Their ATM also didn't like my money. I was feeling pretty agitated and worried at this point. Not to worry I said to myself there will be another ATM a little further down the road. Ten more miles down the road I pull into another gas station and try their ATM. This time I get a receipt printed out informing me that my ATM card was invalid. It being about 40 degrees out I decide to call my mom and have her figure out what was going on. She informs me I have over 700 dollars in my account, and I should be able to get my money. So I call Citibank to find out what the deal is. After about 30 minutes in the cold waiting on the phone I learn Citibank has changed my pin number and there is no way I can get my money out of an ATM. At this point I was about in tears thinking of the idea of having to camp out in the desert for two days while Citibank sends me the pin number.

I call Mom up again and let her know I might be stranded for a while. She comes up with several suggestions all of which weren't of much use. No place wanted to take her credit card number over the phone nor did they want to take a check from me. Last solution was to go back to the casino and see if they wanted to take a check from me. After all casino do like to take peoples money. Another ten minutes back to the casino and I was nearly out of gas. I walk on into the casino and head over to their check cashing booth. I filled out some paper work called the bank to verify my funds, and I soon had a hundred dollars cash. With cash in hand I filled up the tank with gas and headed back down the road. It only took me two hours to get a tank a gas. Needless to say I got back here pretty late and have slowly been recovering from my fifteen and a half hour drive. So that explains my lack of a movie Monday post. Sorry I'm not gonna proof read this because I've got work to do, but I figured I'd post an update for ya'll.

Long Time No Update

Well I took a week off from updating the website. My apologies to anyone who was bored over the past week and were hoping I could entertain them a little bit. I needed some time to myself and to just enjoy the time I had with my family and friends back home. There won't be a movie monday today. I just don't have the time to seek something out. School is also winding down right now and I really need to buckle down and finish up all my work. When I have some free time I will do a little writing for the site, and hopefully get back in the swing of things soon. If you want to you can go check out another site I've done a some writing for. It is a little how to site Kevin and I have been putting together very slowly. But anyway that is about it for now. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Movie Monday: Flash Animation is Great

Once again it's Monday and as always the internet is full of things to watch so I went out and found some for you to see. I thought I might direct everyone to some flash animation today since I really love that stuff, and not to mention it loads pretty fast. So as always just click on the links and have some fun.

Scampi - This particular flash animation isn't to complex just a song with some animation over it. It is has an addictive quality similar to that of badger badger mushroom mushroom. I think I'll definitely be singing "I see things I see them with my eyes. I see things they're often in disguise." for awhile.

I'm A Cow - this flash animation is of what might be going on in a cows mind. As with the last flash animation I think I could be singing this one for a while. I can't wait to see the look people when I'm walking around yoodling "mooooo"!

The Smurfs "The Lost Episode" - Ever wonder how smurfs reproduced with only one girl smurf? I didn't either.

Potato - I don't know why but some of the studpidest things make me laugh.

The Cheese Family - Makes me want to have a wine and cheese party. Anyone want to come?

Pink - This actually isn't a flash animation, but Neal filmed this the other day, and threw it up on the web so I figured I'd share it with you guys.
