Graham
Westley (Manager)
Graham
joined Boro from Farnborough in January. He began
his career as an apprentice professional at QPR earning England
Youth International honours. Scored the only and winning
goal against Holland Under 21s in Youth International tournament
on Dutch soil. He moved to Gillingham making his Football
League debut aged only 18. Graham averaged a goal every two
games whilst playing for Barnet, Wycombe Wanderers, Enfield,
Aylesbury and Kingstonian, winning various competitive and
representative honours before concentrating on business
interests and playing local Ryman League football. He managed
Kingstonian at the tender age of 28, steering them from
relegation danger to mid table security in 1997 and subsequently
spent a short time in charge at Enfield. More recently he has
spent 3 1/2 successful years at Farnborough Town, winning
Charity Shield, League Cup, League Championship, a BBC Team
award and took his side to the FA Cup 4th round where they
were finally put out by Arsenal on a memorable day at Highbury.
He was also Ryman Manager of the year in 2001 after securing
promotion back into the Conference for the Hampshire outfit.
Took Boro from 21st position to 12th in the last 3 months of his
first season at Broadhall Way.

Graham
Pearce (Assistant Manager)
Graham
followed Graham Westley to Boro in January. He progressed
from Barnet into the first division with Brighton as a player
and enjoyed a successful spell in the top flight, capping his
career by playing in the FA Cup Final against Man Utd for the
Seagulls. He also enjoyed spells at Gillingham, where he played
with Graham Westley, Brentford and Maidstone.
Graham coached Brentford to the
Division 2 championship under Phil Holder and Farnborough to its
honours under Graham Westley. He is an experienced 'A' badge
coach, widely recognised for his tactical precision.

Benstead (Goalkeeping Coach)
Followed
Graham's Westley and Pearce from Farnborough in February, Graham
includes Brentford and Basingstoke as his former clubs. He
recently sat on the subs bench against Hereford, but hasn't made
an appearance yet.

Mark
Westhead (Goalkeeper)
Mark joined
Boro in May 2002 after spending a season at Leigh RMI. Blackpool
born, this 6'3" keeper impressed whilst keeping a clean sheet
for Leigh at Broadhall Way, prompting immediate interest. Previous
clubs include Wycombe, Bolton, Sligo Rovers, Kidderminster
Harriers and Telford United. Kicked off his Boro career in front
of 7000 spectators against the might of double winning Arsenal,
and has since gone on to make several notable performances, making
him one of the most respected keepers in the Conference.

Lionel
Perez (Goalkeeper)
Signed in
February 2003, Lionel will need little introduction as he comes
with a CV that shows both Sunderland and Newcastle. Born in
France, he went on to play for Bordeaux before helping
Sunderland into the Premiership. A brief spell at Newcastle and
then dropping down to Scunthorpe and more latterly Cambridge Utd.
Recently made a trip home to France where he played in Zinadine
Zidane's recent testimonial game.

Jason
Goodliffe (Defender)
Jason signed
from Hayes, in the summer of 2001, for where he made 335
appearances after starting his career at Brentford. Jason is one
of the most respected defenders in Non-league football, and in his
first season at Boro, he walked away with Supporters Player
of the Year award. He had the honour of captaining the National
Game XI against the USA at Broadhall Way two years ago, and went
on to represent England in all 3 of the Home Nations Tournament
games that season. He has 8 caps. Won the Supporters Player of the
Year award for the second successive year last season. Looks like
missing the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.

Laker (Defender)
Barry joined in
January from Farnborough Town whom he spent 2 years with after
joining from Sutton Utd. Was Club Player of the year at the
Hampshire club for the last 2 seasons, and joins Boro with the
reputation of being a solid defender. Started his career as a
junior at Wimbledon, before moving to Banstead Ath.

Nathan
Bunce (Defender)
Rejoined Boro
in February 2003 having been released by former club Farnborough
Town. Started his career at Hayes, but joined Boro in 2002 where
he was skipper. He was blighted by injury though and finished the
season back at Church Road on loan. Farnborough then snapped him
up and he returned to the sort of form shown earlier in his
career. Whilst at Hayes he formed a formidable partnership with
Jason Goodliffe, and the Boro fans will be hoping that is the case
this time around.

Mickey followed his manager to Broadhall Way
in January 2003. Equally at home in defence or midfield, he
strengthens Boro's squad considerably. Born in Harrogate, he
joined Farnborough from Northampton Town.

Lee made the short trip from Barnet to
Stevenage in May 2003. Experienced conference player who started
his career at Hayes where he teamed up with both Jason Goodliffe
and Nathan Bunce in defence there. Made 90 appearances before
leaving the Bee's, and played a season of league football for
them.

Travis (Defender)
Simon joined
early in the summer of 2002 from Forest Green Rovers. Previous
clubs include Torquay Utd, Blackpool, Stockport County, Holywell
Town and Telford. Simon is a right sided defender that likes to
use his blistering pace in going forward. Broke into the England
Semi-pro side in 2002, playing against the USA at Broadhall Way,
and has now won 3 caps.

Costello (Midfield)
Peter
joined in May 2003 during the closed season from Boston United,
where he'd spent 2 seasons, helping them through promotion and
into the league. Spent a period of time playing in Hong Kong
before joining the Pilgrims, and his former clubs in the UK
include Bradford City, Rochdale, Peterborough, Lincoln and
Kettering Town.

Another
May 2003 signing, Jamie also joins from Boston United. A youngster
with great potential, he featured strongly in their promotion push
from the conference. Started his career as a trainee at
Northampton before joining the Pilgrims.

Became
Graham Westley's 11th signing when he joined from Boston Utd in
February. He made 136 league appearances for both the Pilgrims and
Oxford United, scoring 14 times from midfield. An exciting runner
with the ball, can also deliver a fine ball into the danger
area's.

Wormull (Midfield)
Signed from Rushden and Diamonds in October 2001, and
immediately went straight into the side for a debut against Woking.
Simon has long been regarded an outstanding midfielder and has
been rewarded with England Semi-Pro honours, despite limited
chances at Nene Park. He represented his country in all 3 Home
Internationals at the end of the 2002/03 season and has now won 7
caps. Simon's former clubs include Espanyol, Tottenham, Brentford,
Brighton and Dover. A good crosser of the ball and can play
on either right or left flanks.

Carroll (Midfield)
Signed from Farnborough in February 2003, Danny is a
midfielder with the knack for putting the ball in the net. Scored
36 goals in the previous two seasons whilst at Crawley Town, and
scored 2 goals that recently saw Farnborough past Darlington in
the FA Cup.

Watson (Midfield)
Steve joined from
Farnborough in January 2003. Highly rated in the Conference, this
tough tackling midfielder was brought in to bring his
inspirational flair to Stevenage. Steve started his career at
Crystal Palace as a youngster and then moved on to Sutton United
where he spent four productive years. He was Captain of the team
that won the Ryman League and moved on up to the Conference,
scoring 14 times in the season and gaining the Player of the Year
award. He then dropped down a division and joined Graham Westley
at Farnborough Town where he once again captained the side and won
the Ryman League title in his first season. During his 2 years at
Farnborough Steve had the honour of playing 4 times for the
England semi pro team. He is currently captain of the side.

player very highly regarded by his manager and one that has high
hopes for the future. He joined Farnborough from Hampton

Justin
joined on loan from Bristol Rovers, making his debut against
Margate. Rovers signed him from West Brom for £75,000, an
indication of the potential he has. Famously impressed
current manager Graham Westley when he bagged a hat-trick against
Farnborough last December. Injury has stopped him making an
extended run in the first team since.

Anthony Elding (Forward)
Anthony signed from Boston in February 2003,
and made an impressive debut in the draw at Hereford. Highly
regarded, he spent trial periods at both Tottenham and Bolton last
season whilst with the Pilgrims. Scored several important
goals last season when Boro most needed them, including a
hat-trick against Leigh RMI.

Baptiste (Forward)
Rocky spent 2 seasons at Farnborough, before
following Graham Westley to Broadhall Way in June of 2003. Before
that he was at Hayes and then Luton Town. Comes to Stevenage with
a reputation for scoring spectacular goals, and will never forget
his goal at Highbury last season in Farnborough's 5-1 defeat at
the hands of the Gunners.

Maamria (Forward)
In
his 2nd spell at Boro, Dino joined in September on loan from
Charleston Battery in the States. His first spell saw him make a
considerable impact, scoring goals that contributed to our climb
out of trouble last term, and the manager is looking for much the
same this time round. Tunisian born, his former
clubs include Doncaster Rovers, Southport and Leigh RMI.
