 Rite
of the Rose Cross of Gold Organization
The Rite of the Rose Cross of Gold
engages its members by encouraging their
active participation in all of its events, including the government of the Rite.
All official offices within the Rite are elective and last for a specific term.
There are no life-time appointments to any office and each member is expected to
participate by holding offices and positions of responsibility. The
government of the Rite is based on the model of a republic consisting of three
branches: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. The finances of the Rite
are fully disclosed on an annual basis to the voting membership.
The Rite has one national Festival each year where the brotherhood meets for
a banquet and an essay contest is held. The winner of the contest is
awarded a special honor from the Rite.
The Rite of the Rose Cross of Gold
issues Grand Charters to
groups of qualified members that reside within the scope of its jurisdiction.
Grand Charters are issued to form a Mystic Temple.
The Grand Charter gives the officers of the Mystic Temple the right to work the
Rose Cross degrees. The jurisdictions of the Rite of
the Rose Cross of Gold are not
necessarily by state. Each jurisdiction elects one of its members to serve on the
Sublime Council and
represent the views of its membership.
The Rite of the Rose Cross of Gold
is a registered non-profit
organization.
