This dictionary is and remains the sole property of Steve Swartz.  It is being released in this limited fashion on computer diskette for the use by the Warlpiri people on the various communities.  Copies may be made, but not sold, to other interested persons or groups.  This computer file is write-protected.  No alterations of any kind are to be made to this dictionary. TO SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR WARLPIRI WORD:

Warlpiri words are located in alphabetical order in the '\w ' field. So, if for instance you wish to look at the entry under 'warlu', use the Edit Find command in Word and under 'Find What' type in '\w warlu' (do not type in the single quote marks).  If you are unsure of the spelling of a particular Warlpiri word, then type in the first three or four letters which should place you in the part of the dictionary where you can easily find the word you want.
