Ticket prices at the Lane vary, depending on who the Blades' opponent is. For example, if we were to play Manchester United, this would be classed as a high-profile game, therefore ticket prices would come under the 'Category A' price list. When we play teams who are likely to bring a low following with them and are not as appealing to Blades fans, the match will be classed as a 'Category C' match. There is also a 'Category B' for matches which could attract an average amount of supporters. Below is the full price list for the 2003/04 season.

•The Hallam FM Kop
The Kop was built in 1991 and has a capacity of around 10,000. It has the club initials, SUFC, wrote into the seats. The noise the fans inside the kop can make is quite amazing. Former assistant manager Kevin Blackwell labelled it as the 'Bramall Roar' after the home leg of the play-off game against Nottingham Forest. The toilets are not exactly top-notch, but, compared to some away grounds, they are!
•The Desun John Street Stand
The Desun stand, situated on John Street, was opened in 1996 and has a capacity of around 7,500. It has the clubs nickname, BLADES, wrote into the seats. This stand is known as the 'family stand' to the fans and is your usual family type stand! It also has all sorts of facilities available, including food and beer bars as well as a club shop.
•The Gordon Lamb Bramall Lane Stand
The Gordon Lamb Stand, situated on road which the ground got it's name - Bramall Lane, is the oldest of the four stands, being built in 1966. It is a two-tiered stand and is used by the away fans. Originally the bottom tier was terraced with no seats and fans had to stand. Away fans are usually housed in the top but are allocated the bottom if necessary. The stand has a capacity of around 5,000.
Bramall Lane is currently the oldest football ground in the football league, with football first being competitively played on the site in 1862. It currently has a capacity of 30,936 but the record attendance at Bramall Lane was during an FA Cup tie with Leeds United, when 68,287 packed into Bramall Lane.

Bramall Lane was originally used as a cricket ground by Sheffield United Cricket Club (see first photo below). Soon after though, Sheffield United, the Football Club, were formed and they were both known as 'Sheffield United Cricket and Football Club'. Cricket was soon booted out of the Lane though for Football to take centre stage at 'Beautiful Down Town Bramall Lane'.

These days, Bramall Lane is a more modern Stadium with three large single-tiered stands, and a two-tiered stand. At either side of the pitch, there is the Desun stand which is situated on John Street and the Arnold Laver stand which is on Cherry Street. Then there is the Hallam FM Kop, which is on Shoreham Street, and the Bramall Lane stand behind either goals.

The Streetwise corner has recently been built in between the Kop and John Street stands to raise the capacity by about 700.
•The Arnold Laver South Stand
The Arnold Laver Stand is situated on Cherry Street, it has the club shop, ticket office, Hall of Fame and the changing rooms beneath it. It has a capacity of about 8,000 and is an excellently structured stand with the only down point being that it still has the original wooden seats, although, to some, this makes it more special. The hooligan element of the club are known to sit in this area of the ground.
2003 - A view from outside the famous Kop stand at Bramall Lane.
•The Streetwise Kop Corner
The Family Corner, situated in between the Kop and the Family stand was very recently built, in 2001. It offers a terrific view but many fans have spoke of how odd it looks because it doesn't join on to the Kop. The corner, which holds around 700 people, is attached to the Family Stand so the fans who watch the game from their can enjoy the great facilities that it offers such as the Club Shop and Food and beer bars.
2003 - Outside the Arnold Laver South stand. The Hall of Fame, Ticket Office, and Club Shop are in sight.
1994 - The original John Street Stand before it was knocked down to be rebuilt in 1996.
1947 - A cricket match at Bramall Lane
involving Sheffield United Cricket Club.
2000 - Bramall Lane just before redevelopment to the corners at each end of John Street.
2003 - A view from the Bramall Lane upper-tier. This section holds the away supporters who visit.
