Regular Season Week 7 - Game #37

Edmonton 33, Hamilton 5

Edmonton's young QB Ricky Ray was in fine form again on Wednesday night. Sean Fleming scored early for Edmonton at 5:36 of the 1st Quarter on a 58 yard punt single. Then he struck again at 8:15 when he split the up rights from 46 yards still in the 1st Quarter. Ray found Ed Hervey from 18 yards to score the TD at 10:40 of the 1st. Fleming made the convert. Fleming scored a second 58 yard punt single at 13:47 of the 1st to add to the Esks lead. Deja-vu all over again, Fleming followed the single with a 17 yard FG at 9:27 of the second. Paul Osbaldiston nailed a 60 yard punt single of his own at 11:27 of the 2nd. At 13:41 of the 2nd he followed up his single with...you guessed it a FG from 49 yards. Fleming scored a 32 yard FG at 15:00 of the 2nd for insurance. Osbaldiston rounded off Hamilton's scoring with a 45 yard punt single. Terry Vaughn scored the major on a 15 yard pass from Ricky Ray at 15:00 of the 3rd Quarter. Fleming made the convert. Fleming homed in a 39 yard FG at 8:51 of the 3rd Quarter. John Avery rushed 1 yard at 12:01 of the 4th for the score, and Fleming made the convert.
