| What About Soccer? Interactive Project | We are a teenager group, which is studying English in Brazil, and decided to develop a project about soccer. Our research aims at telling you more about soccer and clear all doubts you've always had about the most played sport in the world. Our expectation is that you can help us as we will help you. We suppose that you probably already know what the meaning of soccer is, and how to play this sport. Yet, our project wouldn't be complete if we didn't tell you a little about it. This is a sport to giants, that is based in 11 players. The winner is the team that scores more goals within the limited time, which is 2 halves of 45 minutes. Each team has to play according to the following objectives: - to kick the ball to the goal,
- protect their goals from the other team players
- not to let the ball go out of the field.
Soccer was born in England. Charles Miller introduced soccer in Brazil. Since then soccer has become the most popular sport in the country. It has become the most popular sport in the world as well. Today, most of the countries have a national soccer team. Brazil has also the most famous soccer player in the world, Pelé, who has been considered the athlete of the century. In our opinion the best soccer player in Brazil nowadays is Ronaldinho Gaúcho, because he has been playing a lot and scoring many goals.
