The software, which made its debut under the Macromedia Breeze Live name in October, adds
several new features, including the ability to conduct live online, trackable
polls, share desktop applications and use vector-based whiteboards to amplify
and enhance online discussions.
In addition, the new version lets users
store meetings in a Breeze library, enabling hosts or participants to search and
access previous meetings and their materials. It also makes it easy for hosts to
create new meetings, since they can take advantage of prior materials, such as
Powerpoint presentations, documents and even videos.
Macromedia also added new customization
options, including a brandable user interface and custom pods for data display.
The new release also exposes the application's Web services framework to enable
integration with existing portal and enterprise applications, the company said.
The new version is expected to be
available in trial, hosted and licensed versions in March. Hosted prices start
at $84 per concurrent seat per month. Perpetual licenses start at $22,500 for 25
concurrent seats and scale upward based on additional users and additional
options. For more information, visit the Breeze Website here.
