FINGERTIP TOWELS

Designed by Irene Duquette ©2000

(Made with facecloths)

Materials required:

12" square facecloth (I use the kind you get at Wal-mart  12 or 18 in a package for $5)

Cotton or Acrylic worsted weight yarn

Brown embroidery floss for flower and apple stem

Two snaps or velcro for each towel

Small piece of felt for eyes for bunny

Ribbon

Pom-poms for Bunny

Needle and thread

Tacky Glue

Size B hook

Size F or G hook

General instructions for assembling.

With a heavy strong thread (No. 10 crochet thread will do) gather one side of face cloth tightly.  Secure well.  Sew one half of snap at each end of facecloth  or sew a strip of velcro across top.  Sew other half of snap on back of crocheted piece (one on each side) or a strip of velcro.  This makes it easy for laundering the facecloth without having to launder the top.
