Here are a couple of poems that you can attach to your new pillow. They were 'penned' by 2 very talented Ladies and they have given me permission to include them here. Thanks Lois and Janette.

POEM #1:

By: Lois Karklus
Warning: This pillow might turn you on
You might want to hold it from dusk to dawn
So snuggle into your pillow so soft and deep
I made it just for you to keep

POEM #2:

By: Janette Atwell
This pillow just might turn you on,
You'll want it near from dusk till dawn.
So snuggle in, it's soft and deep,
I made it just for you to sleep!

Just a little info about how this pattern came to be. About 15 or more yrs ago, hubby and I saw something similiar at a country fair. But never could find a pattern for it. The next year, we were talking about what to get my dad for Father's Day, when my husband said, " I don't know why, you don't just sit down and make your dad one of those pillows. You don't need a pattern, just think of a 'bra', and 'divide' the 'bra' into 3 sections, the long section and 2 round sections, now you take it from there!!!! " And with 2 days till Father's Day, my hubby's 'instructions', a vivid and creative imagination, (Thanks Mom!) this is the pattern I came up with (minus all my scribbles and hubby's 'drawing/diagram'?). Hope everyone enjoys it. Martha

On December 21, 2001 I received an email from Ros Arnold with pictures and instructions for a small modification to my original pattern. Her modification eliminates the need for baby bottle nipples. She gave me permission to post her modified instructions and the pictures here. Due to 2 monitors blowing up and getting behind in my updates, I am just now posting them. Take a look, I think you will enjoy the 'small' change to the pattern.

With a hook 2 sizes smaller ch 2 and then in the 2nd chain from hook put 4 sc.
Rnd 1: Sc in each sc around.
Then change to the normal hook and continue working pattern from Rnd 2 of the Boobs section of the pattern.
The number of stitches at the end of each row will be a bit different, but the look of the boobs, should be pretty close.
Thanks Ros for the cute pictures and the pattern modifications. Martha
