The Review
Ping is captured by a little boy when he decides to spend the night on the riverbank. He is finally released and is reunited with his family. This story can be used in a unit on animals, or safety.

Safety:
Invite a local police officer to your class to talk to your students about what to do in the event that they are lost, or in danger from a stranger.

Writing:
Never talk to Strangers
Write a story telling why you should never talk to, or go with people that you don’t know.
