Yo guys, it ain't much, but I added another replay of an amusing game I had today. I really wanted to play wgtour, but it was down, so I decided instead to make a replay of a trick opening I've talked about but haven't demonstrated. So for replay number 6 we have Crouching Dragoon Hidden Robo, effectively executed on Nostalgia.

I plan to do some more work on the site tonight and tomorrow night as I have a day off. Also, OGN will be starting up again soon, and when it does there will be many BR's, since I now have the added obligation of signing on as a battlereporter for Team Liquid.

Update:
After talking to actual Team Liquid staff, there hasn't been a definate decision made yet regarding who will be the new reporters, so it's no guarantee that I'll be one. I do hope I get the spot though, as a very rare and valuable OGN account would be in the offing, giving me the opportunity to watch and report on the games, which I do want to do.

Also, I finished another RWA, an old school pvt between Grrrr and Nada, possibly from as far back as 2001-2002. Assuming it's legit of course =p.

Hey hey hey, it's been a while since my last post, been pretty busy with real life stuff with a recent promotion and raise at work =p. Ok, last post I put out a call for a forum guy, LoopHole answered the call, and the forum is now up and ready! Check it out on the side bar link!

Good morning everyone. Toptalent gave me a forum, an IPB. I checked it out today, and I think I broke it or something =p. What I need is someone familiar with IPB to help me set it up and get it going for everyone. If you can help me out, please aim me at Napoleic or MSN hautamaki@hotmail.com or email me at Napoleic@yahoo.ca. Thanks!

OK, I spent most of last night and today practicing for a tournament, too bad I ended up getting raped in the first round when my reavers caught a bug and didn't fire =p. That's the breaks I guess. First let me say welcome to all the guys who came over here from Starcraft Gamers, I didn't even know that my site got posted there, but thanks to whoever's responsible for it =p. What I did do with the little time that I spent on the site was upload a few interesting replays I dug up demonstrating some of my trick strats and positional openings. I'm not sure if anyone cares about watching replays of me, but just in case, there you go, enjoy.

Also, welcome, and thanks, to Loophole. He used to run a starcraft site about progaming that featured a nice replay database, interviews, and progaming news. He's also an old friend of mine, so I'm glad he's on board. I guess it means I'll have to start signing my news posts too =p. Loophole said he'd help me add a few graphics, like that pretty banner, so look forward to that too.

Finally, I talked to toptalent today, my host, and he said he'd hook me up with a forum for the site, so that's a good thing =p. I'll get a good idea of who my regulars are going to be and what they want for the site, user feedback and involvement are good things!

Have a good day everyone!

Hey guys, Loophole here. I'm going to be helping Helping Hautamaki out with a few things on the site, like getting some forums up, doing some graphical work, and assisting with some technical stuff where I can.

I like what Hautamaki is doing with the site, and I think he is very good at articulating his ideas and strategies. I'm a toss player myself, so I definitely have an interest in seeing this site work well. If you want to contact me, my AIM name is Loophole64.

PS, Hautamaki still doesn't care if you think the site looks like shit. =)

Just a little bit of news so far today...

I wound up uploading the RWA's today, they are a couple of good games, Nada vs IntoTheRain and Mumyung vs Chino. I plan to do more soon, but then again I am planning to do a million things, so we'll see.

Update
Here's an interesting tidbit... FreeSoul, a friend of Maynard's, aimed me today and informed me that Maynard personally confirmed that I was right in my usage of the term. Thanks to both of you, and thanks to everyone who has contacted me with support. I'll do my best to keep up with it!

Day two... Going to get my battlereports section up today and upload those next.

Update, battlereports section is now online. I plan to add another battlereport every week or so as I watch them live. I probably won't be adding too many first person reports of myself as most people really don't care about my games as compared to a korean pro gamer, correct me if I'm wrong.

So so far up I have included 1 battlereport that I did a few months ago for battlereports.com, mostly because I spent ages getting that done and I'll milk it for all it's worth. I also posted some pretty recent professional matches that I reported on in the last couple weeks.

I'm really tired right now but if I drink some caffeine or otherwise recover my strength I'll upload my RWA's. Once I get an rwa section up, I'll host whoever's RWA's, but I only want strategy centric rwa's. High level players, etc. For myself, I've only made 2 so far but they are pretty easy so I'll be adding a lot more as time goes by.

From there I'll work on finishing off the content that you can see, namely the pvp guide and the late game terran section, and the first 3 appendices. My vision for the site is for every strategy to be cross referenced with battlereports, replays, rwa's, and any applicable terms, so that everything is uber-accessible, and more importantly, all of the claims I make and advice I give are thoroughly backed up in real life.

I have recieved offers of help from a lot of different people, thanks to all of you. If you are serious about offering some kind of help, such as with a forum or with writing a terran or zerg equivalent to my guide, please aim me at Napoleic. Or if you really want to, I also sorta use msn occasionally and you can find me on there as Hautamaki@hotmail.com. One specific thing I'd like to do is add an ability for people to post comments on news or articles, like you see at sites like teamliquid.net or wgtour.com. If anyone has an uber simple way to add that onto my site, godly. It has to be really basic though, because I am lazy and I am a webmaster newbie. I like to write strats, not fiddle around with stupid bullshit =p.

Finally, there was some question as to my definition of the maynard transfer, but by far the overwhelming majority of top level players that I spoke to endorsed my definition, so I'm going to stand behind it. Thanks to everyone who gave me some feed back, I know there is a lot here (I believe about 60 printed pages in total) so it takes a long time to get through it. In the meantime I'll be looking forward to more feedback as more people start to get into the meat of it.

Day one of Hautamaki's Starcraft Shrine. Right now about 60% of the guide is up and complete. To be added are the PvP sections (except for unit choice) and much of the Appendices. Some content is already completed and just needs to be uploaded and html'd in. Expect to see more soon, in the meantime, enjoy what's here!

Please direct feedback for me to either my email address at napoleic@yahoo.ca or to the thread that I used on the forum to link you here. I hope to get my own forum up and running but I am an abject html newb so that may not be in the cards for a little while.

PS, I don't care if you think the site looks like shit.
