Man, do you really have to do it? This shit is scarry. How am I supposed to sleep after looking at tovarisch stal(D)ean?

Posted by: Kufr #1 at December 11, 2003 03:08 PM

Woah! In the last panel, Carly morphs into Brittney.

Not that I normally notice things like that, but Dean's smile makes me frightened and headachy and I had to look at the broad to get my balance back.

Posted by: ccwbass at December 11, 2003 03:09 PM

I thought that was Carly Simon, except isn't she like 80 years old or something?

She must be suffering from '5th Chromosone Disease' if she's backing Dean. Either that or her Tin-Foil Hat (TM) came off and Howie managed to get control of her mind.

Posted by: Mad Mikey at December 11, 2003 03:54 PM

Well, nabbing the lucrative Carly Simon endorsement is good, but I generally wait until some of the other big stars of the 70's and 80's make their choice before deciding who I'll vote for. I'd be much more comfortable with Dean if he got the endorsements of Olivia Newton-John or, say, the surviving members of Queen as well.

Put a burka on both of those women!

Oh, Creator of Worlds! I am dying! You're killing me over here! I haven't ever laughed so hard.

Posted by: lauraw at December 11, 2003 05:15 PM

oh wait... (ahem)

Word has it that the Osmonds are going for Kerry and, while the Captain likes Dean, Tenille is sticking with Clark. Tony Orlando also supports Clark, but there is some question over how many votes Dawn gets.

Posted by: Belize042 at December 11, 2003 08:59 PM

Viggo's choice will be decisive for the airhead bimbo vote.

Posted by: Michael Lonie at December 11, 2003 09:16 PM

Angriest Little Dwarf, you're so vain. You probably think this election's about you.

Posted by: Somnopolis at December 11, 2003 09:38 PM

Marc, Carly was a sorta star in the 60's. I hate to think of what they have done to her surgically. She looked older then...

Posted by: pbird at December 11, 2003 10:28 PM

Belize, this Captain most emphatically does not support Dean, although I used to get hot for Carly Simon back in the late 70s. Not any more now that she's in her late 70s.

Me, I'm waiting for the critical Starland Vocal Band endorsement.

Posted by: Captain Ed at December 12, 2003 12:35 AM

Arrrrr, you're not a true Pirate, Ed,

For I'd cornhole Carly Simon 'afore she'd known what was going on, I wood :).

Posted by: Jolly Roger at December 12, 2003 04:23 AM

Hilarious! This is why I love this site--glavin!

Posted by: Tartan69 at December 12, 2003 08:40 AM

pbird: You might check for info on your query.

Belize042: It hurts me so to think that love won't keep the Captain and Tennile together, especially when Dean bears such a strong resemblance to a muskrat...

Posted by: marc at December 12, 2003 10:28 AM

That's some scary shiite...

Posted by: BarCodeKing at December 12, 2003 10:38 AM

This Jew says -- plenty funny stuff, YHWH (or whatever your name is).

Posted by: bob at December 12, 2003 10:50 AM

Whoa, Simon is like one missed food pellet away from modelling fashion for Skeletor. Too many bones under that stretched out skin.

Posted by: Laurence of the Rats at December 12, 2003 11:24 AM

Good stuff- is it just me, or does Carly look like she was rode hard and put away wet?!?

Posted by: Kristi at December 12, 2003 11:37 AM

Here at Maddam Tussauds', we see some of the screen incarnations of Jack Nicholson. In the foreground we see Nicholson as Jack Torrance from Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror classic The Shining. Behind that as the Joker from Tim Burton's Batman.

Carly Simon and Steven Tyler -- separated at birth?

Posted by: Jorge Curioso at December 12, 2003 12:28 PM

During the Kennedy assassination anniversary week I saw several cable shows about Lee Harvey Oswald and it struck me that Dean looks like Oswald with about 30 years added on. Same little pursed mouth and glazed eyes. Am I the only one noticing this?

Posted by: rivlax at December 12, 2003 01:31 PM

You are so wrong... Howard Dean is a Zionist Imperialist Plot! Can you not see that he is Bibi Netanyahu's minnie-me?

Posted by: Hamid at December 12, 2003 01:46 PM

proof that your mama was right about making faces and it getting stuck.

Posted by: Dark_Indy at December 12, 2003 04:32 PM

Ew, rivlax, you're right!

Posted by: pbird at December 12, 2003 06:22 PM

Be fair, Carly Simon if she is seventy plus, looks better then any other septigenarian you have seen.
Her brain on the otherhand is as mushie as it was back when she was driving Jimmy Taylor to heroin, and Cat Stevens to Allah. What a 'peace train' wreck.

Posted by: Papertiger at December 13, 2003 12:38 PM

Carly married James Taylor and had the #1 hit song, "You're So Vain", in 1973. I'd guess she's in her 50s.

Posted by: Indigo at December 13, 2003 09:44 PM

Carly Simon was born June 25, 1945 in New York, New York, according to the All-Music Guide. Gah, and I thought she had more sense than that...

Posted by: The Country Pundit at December 15, 2003 10:58 PM

of course, you know, that in hebrew, AL-HUWA-AKBAR means "god is a mouse"
from this springs all the it semitic or semantic?

great site, by the way.

Posted by: Abner Claxon at January 12, 2004 09:20 PM

I don't get it. Of course, I don't think Carly Simon gets it anymore either.

Let me know what kinda crack you guys are smoking cause it must be some strong shit based on what I am reading here specially the kind the moderator is smoking.

I really thought that you were very rude. You are a very huge pig. You need to go suck on something a little bigger than your ego. Screw off. Kramer Menking

I love this website - it's an inspiration to sane people everywhere.

The Dean balloon comments are absolutely smack-on target. It's scary to think that Howard Dean inspires some Americans. From what I've seen at Dean rallies, we should seriously consider repealing the 19th amendment to the Constitution.
