Creatures Sprites - GIMP Plug-in

Description

Here you can find the creatures-sprites Gimp-Plugin. It introduces the loading and saving of different image formats used by Creatures3/DS to the Gimp. It works with GIMP under Linux as well as under Windows.
For further information about compilation, installation and usage, please refer to the files README, README_USAGE and Install_win32.txt.

Installation

Linux:

Note: For compiling the plugin, you need libc16-dev package or libc16-source, libgtk/libgdk (ver. >=1.2.8) and libgimp-dev (ver. >=1.2.1), too. During runtime the shared libraries are needed respectively.
For Debian there is a prebuilt binary package which is built against the Debian/unstable (Sid) and needs additionally the libc16_0.3-1_i386.deb.

The plug-in comes with a comfortable configure-script. Simply type the ./configure; make; make install and you should be finished. From now on, you can select C16, S16 or BLK in the loading resp. saving dialog.
You might need to add the path where the plugin is installed (by default /usr/local/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins) to the search directories for plug-ins in the preferences dialog of the gimp)

Windows:

Note: If you want to compile it yourself, you need also the libc16-source, gimp-dev, gtk-dev and glib-dev. A makefile for mingw32/cygwin is included and you find a short description about how to use it in the README file.

The binaries need only be copied to the 'plug-ins' directory of your Gimp installation. That's all.
