NIHM is affiliated with the Intercultural Open University, The Neatherlands. Intercultural Open University is one of the leading university of the world located at Opeinde, The Netherlands (commonly known as Holland). The University has students from all parts of the world and has received appreciations from UNESCO, UNICEF, ILO, etc. The IOU is a university for higher education approved under the laws of The Netherlands to award Internationally Accredited Degrees & Qualifications.
Intercultural Open University, in fact, is a MULTIUNIVERSITY. Webster defines multi-university as: “A very large university with many component schools, colleges, or divisions, with widely diverse function and with a large staff engaged in activities other than instruction”. In education and research, the university is, therefore, not limited by any governmental or other recognition, rules and regulations, but is itself fully responsible for scientific norms and ethic values in accordance with international organizations and the Charter of the United Nations. Consequently, in relation with academic freedom - the highest norm of a University - IOU is one step beyond conventional, traditional and state universities by the direct global responsibility of its administrative, teaching and research staff towards its enrolled students.
NIHM's reputation is further strengthens with its association with Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association (USA). NIHM is a registered user and approved training center of the Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association.

The University IASE
On 28 Aug., 1955 Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India laid the foundation stone of GVM building, where experiment in public instruction was to be undertaken through basic education centre to higher education.
In 1993, the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) came in to being under the centrally sponsored scheme of Teacher Education. Spread over 1192 acres piece of land, today nearly 12,000 resident & non-resident students benefits from the holistic facilities from Pre-Primary to Ph.D. of GVM. The IASE is working under the guardianship of GVM.
In exercise of the powers by section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, the Central Government, on the recommendation of the commission, has declared the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education of Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan as Deemed to be University for the purpose of the aforesaid Act. The IASE-DU is also a member of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
NIHM is an active member of APETIT (The Network of Asia-Pacific Education and Training Institute In Tourism). The representatives of NIHM have also attended their International General Council Meetings and Seminars held time to time. This strengthens the Institute’s International reputation.
NIHM is a member of FHRAI (Fedration of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India) and HRANI (Hotel & Restaurant Association of Northern India).
