10 Questions: Bruce Campbell
In this first of a new recurring series, the cult fave actor shares his answers.
- Welcome to a new recurring feature on IGN FilmForce, where we run ten quick questions by somebody in the big ol' world of film and television. This week that somebody is actor Bruce Campbell.

Campbell started acting at an early age, making films with his childhood friends, including future big-name director Sam Raimi. Hollywood first started to take notice of the duo when their low-budget fantasy-horror film Evil Dead began to make waves in Europe; New Line soon picked up the rights to show the film in the U.S. Campbell and Raimi joined forces for two Evil Dead sequels and Bruce has made cameo appearances in several other Raimi pics, including Darkman and The Quick and the Dead. Bruce's career since the last Evil Dead movie, Army of Darkness, has been a mix of movies and TV. A few of his film credits from the '90s include The Hudsucker Proxy, Congo and Escape from L.A.; his TV work includes the series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and Jack of All Trades, as well as recurring roles on Ellen, Hercules and Xena. And last year, Campbell revisited his Evil Dead character of Ash for the video game Evil Dead: Hail to the King.

Lately, Bruce has been out promoting his book, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a "B" Movie Actor. He'll next be seen on screen in Frank Darabont's Jim Carrey-starring drama The Majestic, set for release on Dec. 21. After that, fans will be able to catch him as a wrestling ring announcer in next summer's Spider-Man (check out this report for a description of the filming of Bruce's scene).

And now, without further ado, on to Bruce's answers to our ten questions...

9. What is your next project?

Time off – first time in a decade.

10. What is the one project that you've always wanted to do, but have yet to be able to?
