On Thursday, August 29 at the State Fair State Senator Michele Bachmann became the grand champion and 1st place winner in the celebrity butter carving contest. The contest was held in the Dairy Barn at the Moo Booth. Doris Mold, the milking parlor superintendent and Moo Booth coordinator, judged the contest hosted by the MN Dairy Association.
